Sometimes I feel like people take Skam too seriously. I know it's supposed to be a "realistic" and relatable show, but it's still a show. Its imposible to make everything 100% acurate according to reality because it's not a documentary, its a show. Yes, Cris coming out came out of nowhere. Yes, she spend the whole show afraid of coming out to her conservative religious family, and sudently she just tell her mother that she has a girlfriend like it's not that big of a deal and this same prejudiced old-fashioned mother took it very well. Maybe It is unrealistc but... can't we just...enjoy the show? And enjoy these characters we love having their utopic happy ever afters?

Kato and her friendship with the girlsquad is strange and misplaced. It doesn't look natural from any angle. Why do they all seem to care so deeply about her when in reality they don't know anything about her and never shared significant moments together? Yes, Kato has been welcomed by them since she arrived at school, but besides this, nothing. Kato is not open about herself or her life. Apparently, she doesn't know much about the girls either. But still we are supposed to see a great bond of friendship and love between them and a girl who arrived at school one month ago? The problem is not necessarily the time, but the events so far. Kato is only with the girls at school. The rest of the time she works, stays at home, kisses Moyo and rehearses for her dance competition. When did all this intimacy with the girls arise? They don't even know each other. Kato is here to replace Jana, and that is clear. But it just isn't going to happen.

Perhaps this is a controversial opinion, but the exclusive clips should have all been from Joana's point of view. The messy Lucas/Dounia/Kasim storyline could have been left out or transformed into something different that would serve as a background for the main events but would not interfere in the plot as significantly as it happens. The friendship between Amira and Joana could have been a key point of the season as the two have a lot in common. They share the same loneliness and the feeling of being left out of the world. They feel different from everyone around them and that difference deeply interferes with their lives and relationships. They also share the love for the Soto siblings so it wouldn't be difficult to make a connection between the mains and their romantic pairs. With this we could also see more of how Joana deals with BPD, which honestly has been the highlight of the season so far and could have been more explored. Besides, that would please the fans, because we would have more screen time for Joana. What a wasted opportunity.

Where did you hear that it has 10 episodes?

Some spanish site mentioned that it is a 10 episodes season. I don't know if it's 100% accurate but It actually makes more sense than just a 8 episodes season, esp because it's the last one.

So it seems that the season will not have 8 episodes as was initially speculated, but 10. Knowing the dynamics of Skam Espana this means that there is still a lot to happen. I hope they don't create unnecessary drama with Croana and Norandro, that would be tiring and meaningless. They've already been through too much (especially Croana, Jesus Christ). Let them be cute on the background and on Instagram and focus on resolving open conflicts in a convincing way.

S4 seems to be a poorly executed way of reinforcing the skam slogan that: everyone is fighting a battle, be kind always.

Yes!!! It's very likely that they're trying to tell us that being "a digital influencer" who looks like would have a perfect life also 'struggle' daily with tons of other stuff but they didnt have to made her THAT unlikeable and even racist. Also this plot is kinda boring so they would have to make a REALLY interesting background for it to work out and catch our attention but they definitely didn't managed to do so

If Kato freaks out tomorrow at school and verbally attacks Moyo or Robbe it will be clear that we are not supposed to like her. The least she should do after the confusion she has caused herself is to be quiet and accept the consequences of her own actions. Even though she is upset about losing the dance contest she should have the decency to acknowledge that everything just happened because of her, and still thank Moyo and Robbe for not calling the police and putting themselves in a dangerous situation (and legal problem for Moyo) just so her parents don't let her use her phone for 2 days.

I am genuinely curious about what the intention of wtFOCK producers with this season was. It is obvious that whatever the answer to that question is, it did not work. The audience didn't like the bizarre story with unexplained time jumps and a non interesting and repetive plot. Also nobody bought the protagonist whose only personality trait is being self-centered, emotionally irresponsible and prejudiced. We are already in episode 8 and so far there has been nothing to make this season minimally attractive. Even if there is some kind of plot twist waiting to happen at the last minute, the views and the audience engagement has been lost. Watching a SKAM season in real time is meant to be an electrifying experience with ups and downs and moments of sadness and happiness depending on the steps of the main character. For this to happen it is important to have a cohesive script that captures the viewer's attention, as well as a protagonist with whom it is possible to empathize, which at this point we all know that it is not. Unfortunately there is no way to make this season any less unlikeble, nor how to erase the stain it will leave in the show.
