I’ve started this new Tumblr blog just for Tiny Joon. It will be a copy of my twitter account for him (though twitter is better because Tiny Yoongi, Tiny Jimin, Tiny Hoseok and Tiny Seokjin are also there, plus a trove of older tweets back to when I got him in March 25, 2020, which I now consider Tiny Joon’s birthday.) 

Tiny Joon is an official BTS Art Toy from the HWWY / Bangtan Universe, and I got him from Sideshow Collectibles online. You can look them up to find the whole BTS group.

I was thinking about how long the BU had been planned out, and I suddenly remembered / realized that this next album will be the first one after their 7-year planned “Reflection of Youth” series. It’s the start of a new 7 years! It’s such a big new era for new and improved Bangtan 2.0.

I finally got my BTS ARMY fan membership kit that I ordered in January! I would not have become a member except that I wanted to be able to order concert tickets earlier than the general public. But the kit is amazing! There’s so much fancy cool stuff in it. It’s in a beautiful box that slides open. The goodies include:

a blank book (made to look like a film review journal)

a luggage tag which I will definitely use

washi tape with the guys photos and BTS logos on it, cuuute

A user guide in Korean with Seokjin’s picture on it

Photocards to look like movie posters

A cool membership card with my full name on it 

A pin which I will put on my special BTS pin jacket

A beautiful photo book with interivews (in Korean but which I’ve read translations of online)

a big glossy poster which will just live in the box because I’m not really a poster person

Also it all smells really nice! Maybe I’m weird, but I love the smell of fresh printed paper, like fine art books and theater programs. The smell of beautifully printed artsy things is one of my favorite smells, the smell of something exciting and new and beautiful.

Yesterday was my last day at work at the art museum (I’m a paper conservator) because of stay-at-home rules for the next month. I was sad, but it helped that TinyJoon was there to cheer me up. He was a respectful visitor in the lab and kept his hands to himself while I worked on cleaning a 17th century Dutch drawing and listened to BTS on my little red speaker.

I love the Hoseok Art Toy too, though I probably won’t get him; I’m happy with just my Namjoon. But I was thinking how adorable it would be to put him on a cake, and then I just had to photoshop him onto his actual scene’s cake being held by real Hoseok. The cuteness kills me.

I went on my first outing with tiny Namjoon and it was delightful! I ended up making him his own twitter account because I knew I was going to end up posting a zillion photos. Since we go Namjooning together, his twitter account is @TinyJooning. I love him.
