this blog is DCA themed but i've been a FNaF fan for years! the DCA hyperfixation has since died but i'll still yap about this series
i don't engage with or make self insert fanwork for the dca. if you do and you follow me then that's fine but don't expect or ask me to do it

using my art for private/personal use (profile pictures, lockscreens, wallpapers, just to look at) is perfectly fine to do without asking first! but if it's going to be somewhere public (like a profile picture) you'll need to credit me somewhere on your profile/somewhere easily visible (e.g. in your bio or in a pinned post)
using my art as reaction pictures/emotes for private servers or between you and your friends is fine, but if it will be in shown publically/in a public server then you'll need my explicit permission + visible credit given to me.
using my art in a transformative way (comic dubs, translations, edits, anything that modifies the art in some way) is only allowed with my explicit permission + visible credit given to me if/when you post it.
reposting my art to other websites is not allowed without my explicit permission + visible credit on the post itself... but i'd really prefer if you didn't repost my art all.
feeding my art, my posts, or writing to AI algorithms is not allowed. EVER.
using my art for NFTs is not allowed.

im gonna yap about my placements + the process behind drawing each of these because im actually pretty proud of myself for finishing all of these and I LIKE TALKING!!!!!!!
vanessa / kyoko -> she was the first one i drew and also the first one i assigned! while me and my sibling were first playing dr1 i realized that these characters both 1.) are purple and 2.) have father issues. so all the pieces kind of just fell into place after that
gregory / makoto -> i drew him after vanessa :) and he's makoto just because it pairs nicely with vanessa as kyoko imo + they're both protags and already look strikingly similar so it just worked out
vanny / mukuro -> i drew her while i was procrastinating on drawing chica so she's actually the 5th one i drew? but it was so worth it cuz drawing her was SOOOO FUN i already love these designs separately so combining them was like catnip for me specifically
freddy / gonta -> originally he was gonna be kiyotaka but that didn't really feel right? then i realized that both freddy and gonta have similar-ish speech quirks and personalities and i immediately latched onto it. freddy was the first animatronic i drew after like... what, a year now? of not drawing fnaf? so i was really surprised he ended up looking so cute :)
monty / mondo -> this one just... made sense. anyway i actually thought it'd struggle a lot more with the perspective here (i used to be soooo bad at drawing monty and roxy's snouts) but he actually turned out pretty good!! i quite enjoyed drawing him... also this is the point where i decided i wanted to keep the face paint and original colors of their bodies (because they just looked weird otherwise)
chica / aoi -> i think chica's is honestly the one i am the least satisfied with? her pose looks too stiff and the color palettes do NOT look good together... but oh well. the good news is that this problem is what led me to putting a gradient overlay over everyone (because i hadn't started shading them yet and the colors were all flat) which i'm ultimately pretty happy with
roxy / miu -> before changing freddy's assignment i think roxy was the only character i had assigned to a game outside of dr1... but this placement just made too much sense to ignore it. i think drawing this one was definitely the most challenging for me (the outfit is very strange and very detailed), but it was also the most satisfying... i am SUPER happy with how she came out!! this is also the point where i decided i wanted to add shading onto these (which was also my sibling's suggestion)... the shading is admittedly very lazy but i like how it looks regardless
dca / toko -> this one's... self explanatory. it's covered in doodles because i got kind of bored of drawing these but i still had a lot of ideas for different placements that i didn't want to spend even more time drawing... i was also getting increasingly excited and impatient about posting these so the chaotic nature of this image might be reflective of that
OVERALL this is definitely not my best work but I HAD A LOT OF FUN!!!!! i've not really been finishing any sketches lately so it feels nice to complete something... even if it's arguably one of the cringiest things i could ever draw. but i've drawn worse so who cares
realised i never made a proper promo post for this, so: my fellow vannyheads. oodellay over on twt is currently holding preorders for their fan-made vanny plush. they've currently received 44% of the necessary funding (i.e.) orders, but that's still a ways to go.
