@bibvck
i. don’t think this show brings me joy anymore and i have no motivation to catch up/keep up with it atm
they really kinda did connor and kameron dirty from start to finish in this storyline lol
yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i was saying earlier that i really wish they'd portrayed their struggles with theo with more nuance, because i do think it would be interesting to show parents who are struggling with a neurodivergent child! i think that it could've been a good storyline for them to actually learn from buck what worked for him as a kid, not as a biological father thing but more as a neurodivergent kid thing!!
it would've been really cool if they had a convo where they had felt guilty about not being able to 'truly understand' theo and had buck assure them like 'hey. the parents that understood me the most weren't my bio parents. i can understand some of what he's going through and trust me, you're doing great.'
and they could ask what they should do for theo and he could smile at them and be like 'just love him anyways.'
like wouldn't that have been a nice conversation!!! and buck could have the same struggle of what if i was inherently a problem child all along, and also trying to figure out how to be in their lives without getting overly attached, and coming to realize that he can be family without being theo's dad.
there are a THOUSAND ways this could've been good, but 911onabc gotta 911onabc.
ok heres the thing. whats the point of having them be shit parents if they were gonna kill them off
fuuuuuuck ICE fuck ICE
🚨9x17: I Got You Babe synopsis is out!!
8:00-9:00 p.m. EDT – 9-1-1: “I Got You Babe” (917)
Buck is faced with his past after an electrical emergency call. Meanwhile, Maddie learns to navigate her working relationships now that she has become a supervisor.
not to be that guy but this is exactly why i don't trust the show anymore lmao like what do you mean they wanted to make eddie a cop and only didn't because they had to kill bobby
reminder that i hate time minear with everything in me
eight years later and they still look at each other #like that (insp)
Guest star Oscar who played ‘Esteban’ is also credited for 9x17.
As always with IMDB be wary but they’re usually correct for guest stars. Also ignore the April 9th it’s obviously wrong.
Edit - his management said he’s in next episode!
Anirudh Pisharody as Ravi Panikkar 9-1-1, S09E16
how is ravi still not a main

in tears thinking about chimney han right now. chimney who was the heart of the 118 before it became the 118. chimney who's first support system was the original core four of bobby, hen, and buck. chimney who was FURIOUS at bobby for not letting them help him when he got sick. chimney who was left to not only be the heart but also the protector of this family that bobby built. chimney who was so hurt that hen chose to hide her illness after everything that happened with bobby. that she didn't let him help her through those first initial months. chimney who saw buck struggling and asking for punishment and probably thought Thank God. he came to me first. and he looked at buck and said you came to me for help so that's what we're gonna get you. chimney who's only ever wanted to be allowed to help his family and was finally given the chance to.
HEN & BUCK → 9.15 'Pick Your Poison'
You came to me for help, and that's what we're gonna get you, okay?
