Last night I came up with the idea of vampire-demon Lizzy, but I couldn’t think of anything too classic Halloween-style, like them in costumes with a cute pose.

So I drew inspiration from the story of Black Butler itself, which is inherently horror — a demon claiming your soul in exchange for wishes/desires is a classic theme found in many cultures. Since Lizzy is Smile’s fiancée, she decides to “devour the past” to make it disappear, along with Smile’s sorrow, though she becomes corrupted in the process.

yooooo happy halloween!! after seeing the fanart trend and then playing the game cause of it, I rlly rlly wanted to do this. I did break the formula of the game tho... cause I thought a bunch of how their version of the game might look.... and I rlly wanted to draw those two in the game's style heh. so yea :] have a spooky day!!
