Big Eater celebrates interdependence day with two new songs!   DARK THOUGHTS is a surfy, psychedelic instrumental with grooving bass and keys, staccato guitar attack, thundering bongos– thundering bongos! Did I really just write that? –plus deeper levels of meaning provided by the guest vox of Chicago punk legend Jacob Levee. UNCAGED BIRDS is an energetic indie-disco song in the Les Savy Fav / LCD Soundsystem direction, expanding that musical palette by incorporating drum machines, dub trombone, unhinged male/female vocals, and a smattering of saxophone just because we can ("Yes we can!" -B. Obama).   BIG EATER is the long-running Berlin punk band with a deep funk fixation and a serious message behind their party band persona. A hot tip in the Berlin music scene for years, voted #1 live band in the universe at every show they play by audience members losing their minds and inhibitions.
