Hey so I had a question. I mean absolutely no disrespect, but why are those specific characters (Belial, Lobelia and Claudia) banned from your plot? What reason do they cause discomfort?
Hello there! We felt this would get asked eventually, so this is a good opportunity to explain our stance on this. Thank you for sending this in.
The short answer is that they make members uncomfortable, be it their actions, personality, or character altogether. Hereās some more in-depth explanations as well:
Heās the more intense case where there are multiple members uncomfortable with his presence alone, and with the way he is in canon, itās understandable. Heās crude, salacious, and, well, you get the rest. Heās made unsolicited comments of this nature towards MC and Lyria, who are portrayed as underage. Heās very deceptive and abusive, which, although making him a good villain, is not something weād want in our environment.
Heās a sadomasochistic (meaning he gets sexually aroused by pain and in his case, death) serial killer. That should be self-explanatory enough, especially when put in a more modern setting such as this one. Though only his cheerful and seemingly innocent side could be portrayed, his interests are the core of his character, and you might as well try playing another character then.
She displays a very frequent interest in children, particularly young girls, and finds themĀ ācuteā, more so than in just a platonic sense. Even the crew members are wary of her and herĀ ātastesā.
The group as a whole is 16+, so thereās bound to be underage members who are not comfortable with characters of this nature.
While we understand this could apply to many other characters who are suggestive, these three in particular are those weād prefer not to see in this setting, both because itād likely not be allowed so easily in modern times, and also because the comfort of our members matters more than the chance to RP a character available elsewhere. Again, we apologize for any frustration this may give, but itās for the best in the end.
