Why Diabolik Lovers?

🐻like many, I discovered diabolik lovers through its mediocre anime and watched it ironically…didn’t know this would develop

🐇found out about otome games and started playing HDB

🐻was shocked to say the least, had never seen anything like it.

🐇that’s what made me love it. I’m not a fan of horror, but DL makes it feel so scarily realistic it’s gives me an adrenaline rush boost.

Purpose of this blog:

🐻 to read back on all my fav moments without having to gauge through hundreds of content

🐇may feature silly fanart of my favorite moments

🐻relish in canon facts, inspired by the one and only @vampirerosemary

Admin, how do you think a young ayato with a human child could bond and have their friendship progress? (Similar to Edgar and Shu I suppose)

Ayato, prior to his mommy issues, seemed to have been a kind and socially intelligent kid ( him in young blood is just 🥹) I can imagine him escaping the castle, making a human friend, and continuing to be friends with them at their night high school. (Ignoring the human would probably die before Ayato reaches his teenage form)

You’re an Ayato specialist in my eyes haha so how can you imagine it playing out?

I wish Rejet had truly given Ayato an actual friend. Yui can no longer be converted into a vampire, and she will definitely die before him, which is very heartbreaking to consider because he will be completely alone after her death. Laito's situation is also bad, but at the very least, Ayato will always be there for him, providing him with support.

i’m so sure kid ayato would 100% have a human friend.

🏀he gets suffocated from cordelia's behavior, runs away from the castle and runs into a boy.

🏀they get along by playing a game, ayato’s being overly competitive (it’s almost comedic to his human friend)

🏀he would try to hide the fact he's a vampire to not scary away his friend (he's a bit of a himbo so he'll have a few slip ups with showing his enhanced strength by deflating a basketball by accident)

🏀at one point, rather than sneaking his friend into a ball like shu did with edgar, he'd introduce him to laito and kanato. laito would be amused at best, kanato...probably won't have a liking towards it.

🏀watch ayato panic and cover his human friend’s ears as kanato goes on a rant about the audacity of a lowly human to be in their presence

I am so glad I found your blog. I love all the little facts and moments you post on your blog. I can relieve the tid bits of the franchise which have been a little dead in past months. I am looking forward for your content.

i remember when I finished watching the anime and wanted to know more, @vampirerosemary ‘s masterlist of facts in the DL universe made me fall into this deep hole. while i appreciate fanon representations of diaboys, their canon selves are fascinating to read about, as in ‘ Oh, so this is how the character acts in this scenario’

sometimes I’d remember faint moments that occurred in a drama cd/ game chapter and go frantic trying to search for it again 😵‍💫 this blog will help me easily look back at my favorite moments and as you say, relieve tidbits of special moments:D

The fandom isn’t as active as it was a couple of years ago (makes sense, Rejet has been starving us), but this fandom has always served quality, blog’s contributions from 5 years ago are still amazing!!
