"I must be," she said cautiously, giving him a look over before letting a relaxed laugh. "You know my sister? Or just the school, just klaus?" Before she held out her hand. "Daphne."

“Your sister and I go way back.” He grinned. “My daughter also attended the school, so to answer your question, both.” He took her hand. “Nice to meet you.”

Her eyes shot open and she lifted her head to its original position. “Klaus,” she said, surprised. “You shouldn't be here.” She immediately realized how that sounded. “I mean, you're not supposed to be here. It shouldn't be possible.” Confusion was plain on her face.

“Come on, Caroline, you of all people should know how possible it is.” Plenty of her friends have cheated death themselves.

"Horror movie or like happy ending movie?" She asked, really hoping for the second.

“Depends on the day.” Klaus said honestly, with a small grin. He was once the villain in this town after all.

"What do you mean? How-" Her brows furrowed. Had Klaus died too? But that's impossible "Did Lucien kill you all too?"

Klaus cleared his throat. “No.” He shook his head, cami had missed a lot. “My death was my choice, to save Hope.”

Not the person she hoped to meet yet. Cami stared at him, the gaze in her eyes ice cold "Klaus" She did not say his name with emotions "That is too bad. I'd like to know, especially when you find peace. What are you doing here?"

“My guess is in here for the same reason you are.” He said simply, studying her, she seemed emotionless. Perhaps it was due to coming back to life, or she had simply not wanted to feel anything.

"Who might you be?" She asked back when the stranger without a car was also out the front of the boarding school same as well, though she had a car. She pointed back to the building behind her. "Just coming to see my sister."

“My name is Klaus.” He gave a small smirk, but he did suppose it was strange for him to be hanging around outside a school. “You must be Caroline’s step sister.”

🌙 — "God forbid a girl needs me time," the tribrid mused. Whether she was arguing with whoever had approached her, or some other unknown force, it was clear Hope was already over it. Rising to her feet, she dusted off the mulch.

Caroline sat at a table outside, plopping down and letting a stack of folders hit the surface. Her briefcase was almost full as well and she put it down next to her feet. Okay, she shouldn't bring work home, but how else was she going to read through all of this paperwork? She took a sip of the warm liquid when it was brought out to her and began to read. The fresh air cleared her head. She felt more focused now than she had in her office. After a minute she leaned back in her chair and closed her eyes. “I should make an outdoor office,” she said to herself.

“The fresh air is quite lovely.” Klaus said with a smile, taking the empty seat in front of her. “And I’m sure that can be arranged, aren’t you in charge of the school?”

"Right," she said, turning to look up at the... mansion. College. Her new home. "Seems like alot of-" she wasn't really sure. "Looks like it was pulled out of a movie," she settled for.

Klaus just gave a small grin. “I think you’ll find most of this town to have that feel.” He said simply, at least if nothing had changed his statement would be true.

Melody stepped out of the car as they pulled into Mystic Falls. She looked over the small town, which their family had decided to call home so Melody and Jazz could go to college. But there was some hesitation in her eyes as she looked over the place. "Well, it doesn't seem that bad," she muttered to herself

“The inside is lovely.” Klaus stated as he walked up to the girl.

"Hello, I'm looking for Caroline Forbes," she said, pushing the little speaker out the front of the very large and private boarding school. This was clearly why people call ahead, but she was already here, so that was a thought for the past. And it wasn't like she was a child, she could get a hotel and then hunt her sister down from there if she couldn't get into the school.

Klaus himself had been looking for the blonde, or Hope, or anyone really. “And who might you be?”

Arms crossed over her chest. Anger boiling inside of her, like a saucepan on the stove when the water started to boil over the edges. Camille should maybe be happy she was alive again. Deal with unfinished business, but no. She could only feel anger. Hungry for revenge on not only those who brought the dead back ― More on the people who were responsible for her death "Who brought the dead back? I'd like to speak with them. “Camille.” Klaus stood frozen to a moment. The last memory of them together hitting him hard. He cleared his throat. “I don’t believe anyone has that answer yet.”

wait, is that Jospeh Morgan? no, that’s just Klaus Mikaelson, a 25/1000+-year-old, cis-male, hybrid. i heard he is one of the survivors. but what i think you really need to know is he wants to find a way to make sure he can stay alive, no matter what it takes.

Klaus is pretty much canon. He’s changed since becoming a father. Some might say he’s gone soft, but the old Klaus is still inside and he won’t hesitate to bring him out if needed. His family means more to him than anything.

He is determined to stay alive this time. He wants to be here for Hope.

🌙 — It was the last place she wanted to be when she woke up that morning... but she knew better. Large crowds like this, everyone trying hard to let their guards down. It was a recipe for trouble. All that said, she was far from miserable. Melancholic, perhaps, but in a way she hadn't anticipated. "I almost forgot how the city could.. look during the holidays," she mused quietly, lost in admiration.

“It’s beautiful.” Josie might not have been in the Christmas spirit, but she could at least appreciate how well done everything was. “Hope, I’m sorry.” Josie breathed out. She has a long list of people to apologize to, she figured she better start now.

From where they both were standing, there was zero evidence of anything nefarious; but what else would one expect from an invisibility-spell swinging Gemini outcast.

"These lights are so pretty." She commented, not thinking about if anyone else was around to hear it. Abby loved Christmas but there was something about this year that didn't quite feel like it was her favorite time of year. Obviously part of it was all the chaos that had happened. "It just doesn't feel like Christmas time." @btiesstarters
