Bamboo Gods and Iron Men (1974) – Movie Review Review Poorly made, awful acting, terrible dialogue, fight scenes that seem to be made up on the spot with no fight training from the actors at all.

10 Cloverfield Lane (2016) – Movie Review Review Like most things Abrams is involved in the idea is better than the execution. Entirely predictable and a tepid affair. The only saving grace is John Goodman who is as solid as ever.

Yes it has it’s pacing problems, yes there is some stuff in there that isn’t made totally clear, yes it concentrates more on setting up the Justice League movie but there are still a lot of positives to take from it and I’m looking forward to the Justice League movie. The Witch (2015) – Movie Review

Review Atmospheric and creepy and very well made. I’ve read elsewhere people are saying this is slow and arty. I didn’t find it to be like that all. If anything it’s really well paced and easy to follow. Excellent acting all round and more family drama than supernatural horror. Don’t expect Jason or Freddy style gore, it’s all about atmosphere.

Review A 13 episode season which should really have been 10 episodes as it feels dragged out. Not as enjoyable as the first season and Daredevil becomes a bit of an annoyance. It becomes a bit messy with the multiple storylines and I was more interested in the Punishers story line than Daredevil and Elektra’s. It’s o.k but I think I’ll give season 3 a miss. The Gravy Train (1974) a.k.a The Dion Brothers – Movie Review Review A crazy 70's flick that is superbly paced and never gets stale.
