One clear thing about Expressionism that sticks out to me is how it’s episodic, which means “containing or consisting of a series of loosely connected parts or events”. Thus being shown through the three mugs. Each mug is different, and telling its own part of the story yet all three are connected/unified by the fact that they are mugs.
-A pool of blood on display -
In my mind, since the realism theatre style was made to make theatre look more humane, to me, it feels like wanting to put blood on display. [[[so I made this look like blood on display]]] The need of wanting to be connected to what’s going on on stage—Because what is the one thing connected across any walk of life? Blood. Just how blood connects us; realism as a theatre style connects us more through life-like and believable relatable stories. 4 My teacher >>> @fadiskeiker
