(He seems almost good as new with the healing, but that rib is worrisome.)

Sorry to interrupt, hon, but I’d like to put some bandages on you to make sure you heal okay considering how bad that injury was. If you’d like some privacy Futaba and Zen could leave for a bit.

[he immediately gets lost in thought about that, only catching the second half of what maya says. he nods] Mm…

[he sighs in relief when she starts healing him, but his eyes widen when zen confirms the identity of his assailant.]

That was the persona that attacked you? It’s a miracle you got out of there alive!

[he looks a little self conscious and nods a bit] If that’s okay with you two. I’ll let you know how Morgana’s doing later.

Thanks for the help you two! Now, Ren, can you please lie down so I can heal you next? I want to take care or Morgana first, but you’re going right after. I can tell just by looking that you’re way more hurt than you’re letting on, so I need you to not be up and about.

[she smiles a bit to keep things from getting too tense]

[Futaba moves over to Morgana and starts helping Maya clean and bandage his wounds]

A really powerful Persona…? [She glances over at Zen] 

Ren. What did it look like?

[he looks back at futaba, then at the ground. he’s already starting to tense up. why does this keep happening…?]

[he lies down without protest, wincing when the movement jostles his broken rib again. he looks back and forth between futaba and zen curiously.]

It was humanoid, and covered in wires and metal bits. It had a satellite dish for a head, and it looked like it was stitched together from a bunch of different bodies. 

[as he’s thinking back to the encounter, he remembers something.]

Also… it hesitated before attacking us. I thought it was just slow, but it almost seemed like it was… waiting for something before acting. It was alone, though, as far as I could tell.

What in the world did you kids get into? Morgana is going to be fine now that he’s resting and getting healed up, but you look way worse for wear… Does your friend over there need help too?

[Futaba closes her eyes and focuses. She sighs, relieved.] 

Morgana’s stable now, but we need to clean and bandage his wounds. Ren needs some healing, too. 

[Futaba is rummaging through the cabinets and drawers for bandages and stuff]

Ah, thank goodness…

[he starts helping by looking through the higher cabinets (sorry futaba)] Yeah, how…did this happen? Did you all go into a labyrinth, or…?

Yuuki’s okay, he’s just tired. Don’t wake him up.

[now that morgana’s been taken care of, he realizes just how much of a mess he must look like and tries to wipe his face with his sleeve.]

Yeah… Yuuki and Morgana said they wanted to check out the first labyrinth for some reason, so I went with them. We weren’t in there for that long before a really powerful persona came out of nowhere and attacked us. If Yuuki hadn’t suddenly gotten a persona of his own…

(…we would have died. And I was supposed to be there to protect them…!)

[he gestures her to follow as he turns back to the nurses office] W-we don’t know what happened yet, but–

[he looks up when maya, futaba, and zen come back in, but doesn’t move from where he’s kneeling beside morgana.]

[he watches them go, and as soon as they leave the room he tries to sit up again. with some effort, he manages to stumble over to morgana’s bed, quickly taking his wrist in his hand. he sighs in relief when he manages to find a pulse.]

(He’s still alive, but it’s weak… How long were we out? What if Aunt Maya doesn’t come in time? I should have looked for her sooner…!)

[he lets go of morgana’s wrist and tightly squeezes his hand instead.]
