Normally, in games where Boos have their trademark "stopping when looked at" mechanic, they hide their face with their arms when the player character is looking at them. However, in Yoshi's Story, they instead simply stop moving and display a "friendly" face with a slight smile while Yoshi is looking at them.
The 1998 German guide for Yoshi's Story is the only place where an official render of that Boo face is featured.

Character renders for "Wild Cartoon Kingdom", a racing game developed by Rare for the Nintendo 64 before it was reworked into Diddy Kong Racing.
Note that while the designs were scrapped when the game became Diddy Kong-themed, apparently some manner of Donkey Kong reference was planned to be included even at this stage of the project, as the character on the left has a T-shirt with a classic Donkey Kong design on it (zoom in to view).

Atomic blast, Nevada Test Site, November 1951
“From 55 miles away another of last week's atomic explosions looks like a gigantic, blindingly brilliant candle standing on distant Frenchman Flat. The photograph was made from an 8,000-foot mountain range a few seconds after the bomb was detonated. The stem from the 'candle' is composed of vaporized incandescent dirt and rubble which is just beginning to be sucked up into the fireball. As rubble and fireball rise together they will form a mushroom cloud containing hundreds of tons of debris. The explosion was potent enough to break seven windows in Las Vegas, 75 miles distant.” - LIFE, 11/12/51. Photo by Allan Grant.
In Super Mario Sunshine, Swipin' Stu enemies are able to steal Mario's hat, whereupon they also gain a copy of his mustache. The model for the hat and mustache is saved in the files in such a way that it can also be applied to other kinds of Stu enemies, even though it is only used by the Swipin' Stus.
Here is what a regular Strollin' Stu would look like with the hat and mustache.

Enterprise, Alabama built a monument to the Boll Weevil in 1919. In 1915, the weevil destroyed a majority of the town's coffee and cotton crop. On the advice of Alabama's famous black agronomist George Washington Carver, the town switched instead to growing peanuts, which circus owner PT Barnum started to roast to use as concession stand food in his circus, leading to widespread popularity for them as a snack (along with the previously unknown drink, pink lemonade).
The Alabama town made so much more money with peanuts as a cash crop, and so they built a monument to the boll weevil for pushing them to switch away from coffee and cotton. It is the only statue dedicated to an insect.
Contrary to popular belief, George Washington Carver did not invent peanut butter, but a black Canadian, Marcellus Gilmore Edsen, did (he called it peanut paste). It was not popular until John Kellogg (yes, the cereal guy) was able to create a process to make it in batches industrially, and mass market it as a diet food for people who needed protein but couldn't chew.
@onenicebugperday Bug Statue!
a photographer captured a wild black vulture preening a northern caracara. while this interaction may seem strange, considering the birds are not in the same family, they are both scavengers and regularly interact over meals of carrion.
