It was Agatha’s hiss that broke the silence. Her hand was on her stomach, stroking in soothing circles.

“What’s wrong, sweetheart?”

Rio knew that this pregnancy would not be easy for Agatha - it was Death’s child, after all. She tried to make her lover’s life easier as much as she could, but, alas, even Death has her limits sometimes.

“You think it’s a boy?” - Rio’s voice was quiet, her hand on Agatha’s back stroking in circles.

Agatha hummed, stilling for a moment. She didn’t really thought about gender of the child, being pregnant with cosmic entity’s offspring was stressful enough.

“I didn’t think about that. It’s just a feeling, I guess”.

“You know, I could just tell you the gender before the kid is born.”

“No, don’t tell me. You better tell your child to calm down and let me sleep.”
