ZZL was very against the idea, knowing that the two people TLJ was fawning after were seriously dangerous to mess with. Whether it be physical power (sxy) or in knowledge (sy). He would continue to be worried about the idea of betrayal but it slowly started to wane. It also helped when SY would actually Listen to ZZL's ideas and worries alongside being fascinated by ZZL's more monstrous appearance

And I couldn't resist Cryptid Yuen. Since biinaberry wrote that SJ is still abusive towards his disciples, I thought that LBH after hearing about a Monster of The Beast Peak could get the idea that if he defeats The Beast, he would gain Shen Qingqiu's approval. Maybe If he bested the monster, and SQQ already calls him "beast" he could get to be the only one on the mountain called that. Replaceme the current one and be accepted or something.

Cue 14 years old LBH thinking he is off to duel the mighty beast:
