Honestly, my goal in life is just to be a very warm person. I want to be as loving and as kind as I can be.

If you can, tap into that part of you, beyond all the layers - your essence. There is a voice there that says "I know, I understand." It is kind, it is caring. It says "You are not rocks and dust, You are more than a star, You are infinite, But you are not alone, We are here together." This voice knows your inner child. It has been with you through joy and sadness. Listen to this generous voice. It calls you to be kind to yourself, it calls you to forgive your past self, it calls you to be compassionate. It says "Carry on, you are adored" -B
Body-image concerns are becoming more and more prominent for men and women. Body positivity has been a struggle for me for as long as I can remember. These are things that have helped me most in coming to deal with that and gradually liking my body: 1. Body image concerns colour your experience of the world and how you interact with others. Although critical thoughts can be very overwhelming at times, it's good to realize that there are other things in your life that are just as influential and worthy of your attention - your health, your goals, your posture, your experiences, your loved ones etc., and these deserve your time too. 2. Realizing that just because you look different from the norm or the ideal, doesn't mean you are less worthy of love or attention. Sometimes this reassurance comes from within, although it can be very hard to realize. It helps to have this self-love before opening yourself up to others and getting hurt because they don't appreciate your uniqueness and growth. 3. Combatting negative thoughts takes time and practice, and there may always be things that you don't like about yourself. Your body is changing all the time, and it is helpful sometimes to be compassionate and grateful for all the things your body does for you rather than attacking it for what you don't like (ex. I love how my smile looks in that photo even I don't like how my nose looks, or instead of saying I hate how skinny or fat my legs are, you can say I am grateful to have these legs because they allow me to commute easily, to travel, to explore my surroundings easily). 4. Despite the whole "love yourself" philosophy, it is okay to want to change things about your appearance. Don't feel guilty or superficial about wanting to workout more or wanting to get aesthetic procedures done. This is your body and if you want to change something to feel more comfortable, do it. #bodypositive #loveyourself #selflove #acceptance #lessons

At some point, you gotta decide for yourself who you’re going to be. Can’t let nobody make that decision for you.
