Fit is fast. Fast is fun.
Trails were hard to ride on frozen tracks and then you would drop through 4 inches of frozen snow. Can’t wait for fat tired Pigsley I pick up this weekend.

It doesn’t matter how slow you go… as long as you keep moving.

Wow, mid 60’s in early March. Had to take a ride.Snuck out while Ethan and Emma were in preschool this morning. Winds of 20-35 miles per hour made for some windfall on trail, but not too bad. It was so warm all I needed was a lighwieght wool jersey. Unreal for early March.
Got to get in a quick first mountainbike ride of the year today. Not to cold, temps in the high 30's to low 40's. Trails were a little wet, but stayed on the limestone trail and stayed off the singletrack till it dries.
Felt great to be outside instead of riding indoors.

Here's a short video of me crossing the suspension bridge that is the signature feature of the Brush Poppers Dual Sport Ride in Sterling, IL. I went with a group of great guys from the Chicago Dual Sport Riders meetup.com group.
A long hill off a logging road in the UP of Michigan just outside of Gwinn. Nothing technical, but a nice long hill to try out the new gearing on.
Had a wet, but great ride at Forest Island Trails on Sunday.
