Honored to add virtual riders, Uncle Dave and "Nonny" for Jenny.
There are books based on it. There are movies created because of it. Poets ponder it. Scientists try and unravel it. There are famous quotes. Sayings. Excuses and rationalizations about it. There are beliefs and disbelief. It is the one thing we all truly have in common and the thing we may be the most different because of.
LIFE.
This year I'm riding to celebrate this life, and give back to the preservation of it. And contribute to a collection that helps us when we need it most during our lifetime.
Join me.
Each donation, I will add to a name to this year's "End Cancer for Life" wall on my Facebook page. And also add their name to my jersey for the day of the ride, For the honor of their life and ride for them during this year's 100 mile Pedal The Cause ride, here in STL on September 28th, 2014!
I'm looking to raise at least $600, that's $6 a mile!
You can donate on my page here: http://stlouis.pedalthecause.org/riders_profile.jsp?MemberID=25168

For Dottie. The Bike MS Century Ride.
Both the Lurk and Bauman family from Bloomsdale/Ste. Gen had a wonderful showing at Bike MS this weekend. I was truly amazed by a family pulling together for one family member, Dottie, who has MS. The family showed with riders of all skill level, riding as much as they could, raising as much as they could. Family members not finding a way to help by riding, poured their heart into volunteering at rest stops, lunch stations and operations. Through all the miles and rest stops, I was a passenger to the life of the Bauman family, looking into the reason that pulled them all together. A cure.
No injuries. No exploded tires. The cheers and compradore went a long ways. 101.9 miles to be exact.
All ready for BikeMS tomorrow!
