HI FRIENDS

I have decided to remake my tumblr — for a lot of reasons including just wanting a fresh start.  But I’m going to be following most of the same people and if you’re following me now and want to continue doing so, you should feel free to follow me @ werewolfmcwerewolf.  There’s not much there now bc I haven’t started following people properly yet but like I said, it’s gonna be a lot of the same content.  I just wanted a blank slate.

I won’t be deleting this tumblr (at least not yet) and there’s a bunch of stuff in the queue that will inevitably keep posting for a while, but starting Monday I’m going to be blogging in realtime from my new tumblr.

I just don’t get why people need everything they do to be feminist though. It doesn’t invalidate your feminist beliefs or actions to do things that are not feminist. To center your feminism around embracing sex, femininity, heterosexuality, etc. is pretty pathetic and kind of just tells me that you’re not willing to change shit and want to reframe feminism around your own desires

how convenient, this was just reblogged. but anyway this post is kind of what i mean. people are very reluctant to not have things they like be feminist, but even worse anti-feminist. i feel like maybe in my liberal feminist-empowerment-individualism phase i would have been really offended by someone saying something i do is anti-feminist, but now that i conceptualize feminism as the liberation of women and elimination of patriarchy? not so much.
