from experience, how hard is it to make friends, find an affordable place to rent and a job in Melbourne? with effort is it achievable? (:

Oh god.It's not easy but that's life? It's empowering and exciting to transition from living at home and being nurtured to become independent and looking after yourself.It's totally do-able. One step at a time. I'm not going to lie, sometimes I do miss my fam and wish i was a kid with no repercussions to this decisions I make. But everyone has to grow up eventually and I just think it's scary/nice that I'm a bit ahead.

How do you get a part time job in retail? when do you think the best time is to hand in a CV? x

I think you need to have a bit of retail experience/ or know someone if you want to work at more established Australian designers. However always write a cover letter on your cv about the brand and what you love about it/ why you would want to work there. That always helps!!

Where do you work now?

I'm currently at gorman however just accepted a new job as assistant manager with Zimmermann! So I'm super excited for a bit of change :)

I bought it!Well I wasn't really saving for a car, I was just saving my whole life. But I'd say it took me a couple years to save! It helped because at one stage I was living at home and working full time. :)

Ughhhhh time heals all wounds. I don't know tho, I've never gone through a proper break up with someone I loved.Can't imagine the heartbreak jeeeesuz. Socialise, keep yourself busy and make sure you're bettering yourself in both work and health aspects.
