Update: We have Discord!

After hours of painstakingly counting ballots*, the city of Bingley is both shocked and happy to announce that the winner of the city council is Connor Evans!

While no statement has come from Mr. Evans yet, the Mayor commented that future town meetings would undoubtedly be different than any in recent memory. 

*and by painstaking ballot counting, what I really mean is flipping a coin during my lunch break. ;)

where is bingley in vermont? is it close to the lake, or canada :)

What a great question!! I was actually thinking that Bingley is located on the southern side of the state in the north central region. The mountains are definitely a big draw for hikers and climbers, but being close to the Connecticut River also allows for water sports as well!

Hey y’all! Just a quick update-- I’m BACK and so happy to see everyone jumping back into Bingley! <3 I’m hoping to get the town calendar updated tonight to carry us through the rest of the summer. If you have an ideas for something you’d like to add to the calendar (it doesn’t have to be a public event!) let me know! Also please double check the follow list to a) make sure you’re following everyone and b) make sure I didn’t forget to add one of your sites!! Happy (re) Opening!

Hey y’all!

The day is finally here! It’s the official re-opening of Bingley!

As before, Bingley exists in “real time” meaning currently it is mid July in our little town. I will be updating the calendar for July and August as soon as I am back from my trip but in general, this is a very busy time in town in terms of tourism. The GMTF is running shows, there are hikers, rafters, and mountain climbers in and out of town, and any number of people stop by just to experience the small town charm.

More to come later, as I said, but please feel free to message me if you have any questions in the mean time! For any of our new friends, you can find the link to our follow page on the left. I will be updating it, again, once I’ve returned but for now I will leave you with our new sites here! (So awkwardly done— thanks mobile.)

Another Opening Update!

Hey y’all.

So without going into a long story, I had to change my travel plans last minute which means I’m leaving on July 5th! (Of course!)

I’ll be gone for about a week so we can either go ahead with re-opening on the 6th OR delay a week. What do you guys think? Let me know!

Hey y’all! Since it doesn’t seem to be a big deal to anyone to move things back, I’m going to move the opening date to Saturday, July 13th! I’ll be returning from Vermont filled with all sorts of Bingley inspiration, I’m sure! And if anyone wants to follow the plethora of Bingley inspo and trip photos I always post, ask me for my Instagram name! :) Thanks for being so flexible everyone!

Hey y’all!

So my plan to gradually release the new character bios over the rest of the week obviously failed. (Oh well!)

Please check out our old and new faces! I am 100% open to any changes you have regarding plot lines. Please don’t feel like I’m trying to force you to take your character in a certain direction! Just let me know and we will adjust everything accordingly!

Also, I’m planning on releasing any reserved characters by our official opening date unless I hear otherwise from you!

Our official opening date will be July 6th!! And I can’t WAIT!

(Also, Ruby makes terrible cocktails.) After teaming up with Mel Franklin and Eloise Beck, she approached Camille Dover about taking on Peter’s case, fully prepared to start a fundraising campaign to fund it. Age: 26 Occupation: Various odd jobs Connections: Imogen Pierce (best friend); Alma Lanningham (surrogate parent); Alice Lark (interest); Warner Fulton (rival) When budgets began to tighten at the festival, Milo and Imogen were two of the first axed from the payroll. Milo, never one to be down for long, began picking up odd jobs around town which, in all honesty, worked much better for his schedule of spontaneous adventures around Bingley with Imogen and Alice.
