Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black" starts playing over the credits of episode 10, season 3 of Titans. What's the context? Scarecrow and Jason invade Wayne Manor and, in the process of turning the place into "Crane Manor", Scarecrow has Jason destroy the portrait of Bruce and his parents. Thus, by stabbing the portrait, Jason lets out all his frustration towards Bruce and then, over the credits, this song plays.
If you think about it, "Back to Black" is a song that represents everything that Jason Todd is. The song tells us about a person who has a loved one who is absolutely everything to her, and how her loved one doesn't return a shred of this affection. Her loved one has a first choice, but when he can't be with her, he looks for the protagonist, who always welcomes him with open arms. Having the opportunity to be with that first choice, he leaves the protagonist without remorse or consideration for her feelings and she returns to her black and sad world, waiting for his return. This becomes a routine, her loved one returns only when he wants to use her and she receives him happily, but when he leaves with the one he really loves, she returns to her black, empty world, waiting again for his return.
This song tells us about a person who would give the world for her beloved, who would take out her heart to give it to him, who lives for him, who loves with a tremendous immensity. But even so, this feeling is not reciprocated. This person is always left with all the love in her hands, alone, and every ounce of herself that she puts into this world is left unreciprocrated.
