Alternativen zum EEG - Biomethan Konferenz in Schwäbisch Hall

Durch die drohende Beendigung der EEG-Anlagenförderung für bestehende Biogasanlagen in Deutschland ab 2021 sowie eine oft unwirtschaftliche Vergütung von Strom aus Biogasanlagen in anderen Ländern gibt es ein starkes Interesse an alternativen Einkommensmöglichkeiten bei Biogasproduzenten.

Gleichzeitig besteht ein großes Informationsdefizit bei der dezentralen Aufbereitung von Biogas zu Biomethan und dessen Nutzungspotenzialen.

Neue Lösungen in der dezentralen Aufbereitungs- und Betankungs-Technik eröffnen mittlerweile auch kleinen Betrieben die Möglichkeit wirtschaftlich interessante, neue Wege zu beschreiten. Statt in ein neues BHKW zu investieren, kann es durchaus Sinn machen das Biogas aufzubereiten und vor Ort als Kraftstoff zu vermarkten und so ein zusätzliches Einkommen außerhalb des bestehenden EEG zu generieren.

Die Entwicklungen in den Bereichen dezentraler Aufbereitungs- und Betankungs-Technik, Rahmenbedingungen und Nutzungsmöglichkeiten werden in Beiträgen für und aus der Praxis, der Wissenschaft und der Politik dargestellt und diskutiert.

Durch eine Simultanübersetzung (Deutsch <=> Englisch) wird sowohl ein internationales als auch ein nationales Publikum erreicht, mit dem Vorteil, dass beide von den jeweiligen Erfahrungen profitieren können. Somit kann ein optimaler Wissenstransfer und Erfahrungsaustausch zwischen deutschen und internationalen Teilnehmern garantiert werden.

Parallel zur Konferenz stellen Akteure aus Forschung und Praxis in einer Poster- und Firmenausstellung ihre Ergebnisse und Produkte vor.

Eine 1-tägige Exkursion mit der Besichtigung einer Gaseinspeiseanlage und einer dezentralen Aufbereitung mit Tankstellenbetrieb in Baden-Württemberg runden das Programm ab.

Biogasanlagen sind in Verruf geraten. Dabei könnten sie einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Versorgung mit erneuerbarer Energie leisten - sofern die Technik schrumpft.

“Schon Volta erkannte das energetische Potenzial seiner Entdeckung und konstruierte eine methanbetriebene Lampe. Heute, keine 250 Jahre später, stemmen rund 8000 landwirtschaftliche Biogasanlagen 4,4 Prozent der deutschen Stromproduktion, was etwa derjenigen von drei mittleren Atomkraftwerken entspricht.”

The focus of conference „Progress in #Biomethane Mobility“. is on yet underdeveloped chances and potentials of the use of biomethane as a fuel in vehicles. The conference will show the latest developments from existing gas upgrading systems. Other solutions for upgrading small amounts of biogas will be adressed. The benefit of small scaled technologies is the decentralized production and the direct use of the biogas. Looking at the socio-economic benefit plant operators can create an additional income. An increasing number of fuelling stations can be expected. This makes an essential contribution to decrease the CO2-emmission. The conference is for operators from biogas plants, gas station owners, fleet operators, researchers, energy service companies and automotive industries, as well as actors in the treatment technologies of biogas and #CNG, manufactures and consultants. Parallel to the conference the innovations and engineering solutions on bio-methane will be presented in an exhibition. The excursion on the second day offers participants of the conference the opportunity to visit interesting biomethane projects in the region.
