I probably should've done this a while back, but oh well. In honor of RE9: Requiem recently released and the Veronica Remake announced, I decided to go back to my fanfiction roots and get an old story out there with a fresh coat of blood and paint. If you like any of the following this might be just the story for you. Including but not limited to...

a Claire Redfield-centric story line as the main character (my fave!)

a story written like a fully-fledged mainline game and scenario, with a mystery to solve, secrets to uncover, and escalating danger and stakes

Attempts at writing Boss Encounters, Exploration, and Puzzles

Takes place con-current with RE7

Keeping to the OG Storyline Canon Mostly including the CG Animated movies, aka not the Remake Timeline

Appearances from other characters including but not limited to Moira Burton, Sherry Birkin, and Jill Valentine

Antagonists different/with more than the usual 'rule the world' intent

Did I mention Claire Redfield focused? So nice I'd emphasize it twice.

I also made this side blog because I plan on getting some art on over here, including fake screencap-style storyboards and monster designs (no ETAs on those but hopefully soon), soooo...why not give it a try and take a look? :D

CLAIRE REDFIELD, YEAR 2017 This version of Claire for my fic is designed more towards a mix of the OG design, Darkside Chronicles, and Revelations 2 instead of Remake version, I just don't find that version distinct enough in...much of anyway imo. White woman jumpscare. Other thoughts going into sketching it out...

Most of the recent designs are very 'outerwear red, inner wear white', but the reverse looked really nice and popped in Degeneration, so kind of playing on a variant of that to change it up a bit.

Giving her high ponytail back, I just gotta. I did not like her haircut at the end of Revelations 2. One can say she did get it back in the Death Island Movie which took place in 2015. Regardless, she could totally grow it back all the same.

I wanted to give that touch of growth and fatigue without make her feel too grungy, cold, or veer too hard into mom mode -babysitter status aside- (or rather...more 'yes mommy? I mean mommy, I MEAN-' vs 'Yes mom -after being given chores to do'), if that makes any sense?

Giving her some muscle Capcom is a coward and I am not. But also not enough to end up like Chris in his RE5 roided period.

The hanging sunglasses was a touch I liked in the Darkside Chronicles version of the RE2 campaign. In general those designs are fire, I'm biased as hell towards them, but either way, still keeping that biker vibe with her in a small way. Also fingerless biker gloves, bay-beeeee~

Fudge, I actually haven't done a ton of gun posing photo things or drawn a ton of guns. I'll still try though.
