// Hello! I think I know who I'm switching to, finally.
// Hi everyone
I'm most likely gonna be flipping this. Again.
Please unfollow me. Thank you.
send me "be honest..." with a question your muse has been dying to ask mine and they'll answer truthfully.
He huffed at the compliment to the other man. "Not that great..." Cole mumbled and felt better when his sexiness was agreed with. Settled down in bed together in each others arms Niran said something unexpected. The cowboy certainly cared for Niran, but he didn't think that those feelings went so deep. "Really?... You just keep surprising me, my little lotus~" He smiled and leaned in to kiss the other affectionately. "I love you too darling."
He smiled at Cole's declaration of love before leaning in to return his kiss, keeping him close with his arms. There they were, he thought, officially in love, and he couldn't be more excited. However, as he felt himself drifting off to sleep, he realized his excitement would have to wait till the morning. Niran yawned as he finally closed his eyes. "See you in the morning, handsome?"
Cole chuckled and squeezed the other gently. "The day you were saved by the sexiest cowboy in the west~" He said in amusement and thought about that day. "I almost didn't come on that mission actually, Baptiste was supposed to go. But I stole his spot and headed out with the team last minute." The cowboy explained and set aside the empty bowl when niran was finished eating then dimmed the lamp. "He could've been the one that saved you and fell for, but I think you got the best outcome with me~"
"Oh, I don't know. I mean, he does seem to be a great guy." Niran teased and chuckled as he snuggled closer to Cole; by this point he had already finished the biscuit. It was his turn to lay his head down on the cowboy's shoulder and relax, cuddling with him as he wrapped his arms around his shoulders. "Though you are the sexiest cowboy in the west, indeed. I...I love you, Cole."
He was comfortably content, enjoying the warmth of the other's body next to him. The cowboy was very happy whenever they went on missions together. Even if they didn't work together atleast at the end of they day they could have this time to rest together. "Fateful day?" Cole questioned curiously. "What day would that be?"
"You know," replied Niran as he snuggled closer. "That day we went on a mission when I first joined and you saved my life. Truth be told, I still think about that sometimes." He gave the cowboy a loving smirk before taking another bite of his biscuit, his mind vividly recalling the event as if it only happened the day before.
He sighed in content, glad to be able to relax in bed with someone he cared about after a long day. Cole glanced up when the other spoke his thanks for the meal and he smiled softly. "You're welcome, didn't want you going to bed hungry." He said and nuzzled at him a little. "Ankle is doing just fine, all thanks to you."
"That's good. It's my pleasure." He replied as he kept eating. A few minutes later, he handed the empty bowl to Cole as he went to eat the biscuit he was given, savoring the taste as he returned the nuzzle. "Sigh...now, I don't know what I'd do if we hadn't met that fateful day."
He was just in his boxers, how he normally slept unless it was really cold then he'd throw on a shirt. Niran seemed so tired so Cole helped him out while getting changed and let the long hair down. "Of course we can, I'd be sad if you didn't want to snuggle." The cowboy said as they climbed into bed together. He snagged the portion of dinner he had saved for Niran, a bowl of stew and a biscuit. Nothing fancy like the meals at HQ but it was far better than nothing. He put his arm around the other male's waist and rested his head on Niran's shoulder.
Niran chuckled as he accepted the dinner Cole had provided him. Sure, it wasn't much, but he did know things could be worse and this was better than not eating at all. He sat upright as he ate the stew, however cold it was, and let Cole snuggle into him without complaint. Not that he would complain about it. "By the way," he said in between bites of food, "thank you very much."
He was a bit worried when Niran hadn't shown up but tried not to let darker thoughts take over. If something happened at the medical camp everyone would've been notified. So Cole went about his own thing and got comfortable in his room. The safehouse they chose was a small office building they fortified after defeating the main wave of rebel omnics, had supplies shipped in so they could be comfortable for the long term mission.
The cowboy had himself a pretty nice inflatable mattress, much better than those puny cots. He was very comfortable and would've drifted off to sleep if it wasn't for the knock. Cole got himself up and let in who he was expecting. "I'm glad Angela let you come rest, you're getting dark circles under those pretty eyes." He teased softly and closed the door behind the other. "I saved you some dinner. Its cold now, but wasn't sure if you got the chance to eat while working."
Niran nodded his head and listened to Cole's words. The thought that he saved dinner for him really gave him pause but in a really good way. He couldn't thank him for the gesture now; he was too tired. But he would accept the offer. He made his way towards his dresser and started getting changed out of his working clothes and into the silk pajamas he loved getting to bed in. "Can we snuggle while I eat?" He asked.
He appreciated the concern and the care that his boot was placed back on. Cole got back up to his feet and tested putting weight on it. Seemed well enough. "Thank you kindly, Niran. I'll probably meet you back at the safehouse thats set up. Page me if trouble heads your way."
Cole headed back of into the concrete jungle that was this city. The main waves of attacks was over but there were a few stragglers that needed to be eliminated and injured civilians to be aided. He caught up with the other agents and they made their hunt through the city, eliminating threats and sending those who needed aide back to the medical camp set up. By night fall they cleared the area and headed to the safehouse.
It took a few more hours for Niran to show up at the safehouse. The incoming patients needed monitoring around the clock, not to mention the fact that some of them had lost their homes and needed to stay at the medical camp till the next day.
Eventually, he was just too tired to concentrate, and Dr. Ziegler noticed and released him from his duties for the day. Once he was, he made his way to the safehouse and through its corridors to the room where Cole resided. After a day like that he needed his cowboy, and he suspected it was vice versa for the other.
The biolight sped up the healing process and left him feeling all tingly, like a body part recovering from being numb. Much prefered over a painful ache. It was wrapped up and he chuckled at the doctor's suggestion to stay here.
"There's still some of those rebel bots scattered around the area. I'm not resting till Overwatch has completely secured the area. But I'll do my best not to worsen it." He said as he watched Niran wrap his foot and ankle up, then reached out to lift the man's chin to steal a quick kiss. "I'll be careful, darling."
Niran blushed as he felt his chin being lifted up, and he eagerly returned the quick kiss before bending down again to put Cole's boot on his foot again. "I don't want to see you before the mission is over, handsome. Please take care of yourself out there."
He ended his advice with a warm smile, showing he was still caring for his injury.
It wasn't anywhere the worst pain he's been in. A sudden pain when it happened now just a dull ache. He saw the sympathy on the other's expression and he smiled softly knowing how Niran cared. "That's good to hear." The cowboy remarked and remained still for the healing process. Such a beautiful creation the Biolight was, he still couldn't understand how it worked but he didn't need to, just knew that it worked really well.
"Your light is so soothing, darling~" Cole complimented with a grateful tone to have Lifeweaver out here tending to him on top of the civilians they were saving.
"Why, thank you. I worked really hard on that." Niran replied, still focused on tending to Cole's ankle. He could see in the light how the bruising changed and the swelling reversed its course. When he was done, he reached over for some bandages to wrap around the ankle in.
"I'll need you to be careful," He said as he wrapped the bandages around the ankle. "Biolight can only do so much. If you need, you can stay here till I check on it tomorrow."
"Make yourself useful for once."
"Useful? I already have been!"
Niran joked as he leaned up against a nearby chair, being the usual smartass he was in this kind of situation. After all, he was the one trying to save technology he created from the wrong hands.
He limped on his way over to the medic's camp with the other's help and sat down in the seat given with a grunt. "Yeah, took a tumble from a little too high and my foot bent sideways at the ankle. Really hurt like a bitch." Cole explained as he assisted Niran with getting his boot off to have a closer look. The cowboy could move his toes just fine and still had feeling, but his ankle was starting to swell and bruise.
Niran almost cringed when he examined the injury. He was used to seeing injuries at this point; in fact, he'd seen much worse over his time with Overwatch. What hurt the most was seeing the cowboy he'd built up a very good rapport with in so much pain.
"Sigh...it doesn't look too bad for ankle injuries." he replied after his examination. "Just hold still." He readied his own cybernetic arm and hovered it over the swollen ankle, washing it in a pink glow emitting from his hand. His biolight.
Here, lean on me. I'll support you.

He was snatched up and brought right to Lifeweaver Stumbling on the release but the other was right there to grab him. "My hero~" He smiled warmly. "Just a sprained ankle, I know you can fix it in a jiffy so I can get back out there in the fight."
Niran chuckled as he let the cowboy hold on him while escorting him to a camp the medics set up for the battle. Once there, he pulled out a chair for Cole to sit on as he checked him up. "A sprained ankle?" He asked. "I'll check to see if it's just that or if it's something more serious."

“You’re dripping blood on the carpet.” “When I said scars are kinda sexy, I didn’t mean you should get one right away…” “Press that against the wound, I’m going to get the med kit.” “It’s bleeding quite badly.” “Oh God, what happened to you?!” “You’re covered in blood! Is it yours?” “Your head looks pretty bad. I’m sure it’ll need stitches.” “It’s going to hurt for a moment, but I’ll need to clean the wound.” “I’m so sorry this happened to you. But you’re safe now.” “That’s a pretty nasty bruise. Want some ice?” “Does it still hurt?” “I don’t think a band aid is gonna fix this…” “Whoa, hey, stay with me! You’re as white as a ghost. Don’t pass out.” “Damn, that must hurt. I’m sure there are some painkillers around here.” “You have to be seen by a doctor. This isn’t going to heal on its own.” “It looks broken. Can you move it at all?” “Here, lean on me. I’ll support you.” “I’m not going to leave you behind. If need be, I’ll carry you.” “I’m going to pick you up now, okay? Just hold on to me.” “Everything is going to be okay. Just hang in there.”
“I don’t feel so good.” “It’s seeping through the bandages.” “My head is throbbing. I think I have a concussion.” “I can barely breathe, it hurts so bad!” “It looks worse than it is. I’m sure it’ll be gone in a couple of days…” “You should see the other one.” “Don’t look at me like that. I don’t want your pity.” “It was my fault, really. I wasn’t paying attention and got hit in the face.” “Getting stabbed wasn’t really on my bucket list.” “I don’t think I can walk.” “Leave me behind, please. I’m just going to slow you down.” “Am I going to die?” “I can’t stop the bleeding.” “I think the bruise matches my eye color.” “Don’t touch it, please! It hurts.” “I don’t want to go to a hospital. I hate doctors!”
