well i’m officially done w/ m.arvel’s current comic canon because it’s just so wildly inaccurate and doing these brilliant characters such injustice that i can’t stomach it anymore. the things they have done to their characters and the way they have handled anything to do with h.ydra, are just lazy and ill-thought out. so this blog will not be acknowledging anything that has taken place recently in the comics or mcu that has to do with h.ydra, civil war ii, or the likes.

she wants to protest, wants to insist that they’re probably a big pack of sweeties who just need some care, but jason seems to know what he’s talking about here, so she trusts him. she was no expert by any means, and probably a smidgen naive in comparison. better safe than sorry.

chin is lifted to minimize the height difference, barely reigned in smile fidgeting on her lips. it wasn’t often she got the chance to surprise him, so it was difficult not to be a bit smug about it when she did manage to do something for him for a change.

“alright, if you’re absolutely sure,” winnie complies, though is unable to mask the underlying dubiousness is the way she murmurs her response. she’s never been good at covering her apprehension.

“well with an attitude like that, it’s not going to work! c’mon, you have to get your hands at least a little dirty,” she encourages, flicking a little bit of flour in his direction. he’d come to her asking for some help in the kitchen, and winnie had decided starting small with a batch of cupcakes would be a good place to begin. it was a simple recipe with a simple procedure; he was totally capable of making a good batch of cupcakes.

“here, you take this bowl and mix while i finish frosting this row.”
