it is what it is 🫠
Because I look better when I’m sick.
They’ll take care of me when I’m sick.
I’ll fit into any clothes I want.
People will look at me. They’ll see me.
I’ll be able to go to the beach and feel good.
Those shorts will finally fit.
People will care.
I’ll finally have control.
i want the world to stop for like 1 year so i can rest
I hope everyone who has been demonized for bipolar (type 1, type 2, AND cyclothimia) has a beautiful and wonderful day and your pillow is super cold when you sleep tonight.
it sucks not being able to trust your own happiness because you can’t tell if things are actually getting better or it’s just the hypomania
what emotions are mine? what version of myself is truly me and which version is just the mental illness in control?
Can anyone else relate
hey if you're not a mobility aid user, and you want a simple way to make public spaces more accessible to those of us who are, i have a tip for you:
push in your chairs when you get up from tables.
when people don't push in their chairs, people with bulky aids like wheelchairs and rollators can't get through. also a lot of people who use canes have wider gaits than able bodied people, and having a chair in the middle of their walking path is a real obstruction. while some of us are able to push chairs out of our way, a lot of us are not, and wind up boxed in/out because somebody didn't push in their chair.
so if you want to do something simple that can make a big difference in terms of like. navigating an outdoor food court or a cafe or what have you. push in your chairs.
(girl who is emitting the pokemon low health sound) nahhhh im fine, just tired :)
