Gideon whimpered some before breaking the hug as he sniffed a bit and wiped away some stray tears. He felt really bad. He thought about telling them the truth about Bill, but he was too scared to do so. “C-can I-I go now?”

"Let's keep you around here for a while," Stan grunted. He still wasn't convinced. "So that we can protect you from Bill."

Stan gritted his teeth. “That’s not an accident!” “Stan…” Ford shifted closer to Gideon. “Child, do you understand that what you’ve done is bad?”

Gideon jumped as Stan yelled at him and sobbed even harder. He looked to Ford and started hyperventilating, “Y-yeah…. I d-didn’t mean it! I-I got mad! I didn’t mean to hurt him!” He covered his face with his hands again and wailed.

"He's in bad shape..." Ford murmured. "You could have really hurt him." Bill, meanwhile, had finally gotten Dipper's body under control. He made his way back down the stairs, smirking when he realized Sixer was distracted. Just a minute more.

“I ALREADY TOLD YA! Quit hounding me like I’m guilty! I didn’t do nothin’!” Gideon screamed as tears started to fall down his face, “Leave me alone! I didn’t do nothin’!” He covered his face with his hands and started to break down in front of the elder twins.

Ford knelt before the young man. "I'm just trying to make sure we have all the facts. You clearly feel guilt. I want to know what happened."

Though Stan still didn’t believe him, he was more concerned with Paul’s health. He took the phone from Mabel, calling for an ambulance.

The ambulance could be heard coming down the street. Paul started violently coughing and a bit of blood trickled from his mouth. Gideon jumped back with a horrified expression while Mabel started crying. She was so scared for her new friend. The paramedics came in and out the boy on the stretcher. And frowned at his condition. The whined a light in Paul’s eyes and said nothing before moving the boy to the ambulance. Soos was running Mabel’s back trying to comfort and reassure her, “He’ll be okay little girl dude.”

"Please take Mabel outside for a bit," Ford requested of Soos softly, eyeing Gideon. As little as the twins liked one another lately, Ford and Stan could each tell what the other was thinking. Moreover, they agreed. Gideon had something to do with Paul's condition.
