Some old Klarion the Witch Boy art I made back last summer.

Klarion is clearly my favorite character from Young Justice, and his voice is just *chef’s kiss* so perfect.

I drew it on paper first and then traced and colored on my phone. No pose reference as far as I remember.

Letting Go

Jeff and Scott share a conversation on the balcony over drinks.

Ice chimes against crystal as Jeff carries two glasses and a bottle of scotch through the villa, as summoned by his eldest. The unusual nature of the request has lodged itself like a hook in Jeff’s breastbone, and so he follows its tugs, helpless to resist.

Scott’s door is almost shut, unusual for him, so Jeff pauses at the threshold, taps knuckles to wood. Some boundaries aren’t to be crossed unacknowledged by the light of day. “Son?”

Almost lost to the walls of soundproofing between them comes a faint, “Out here.”

The balcony, then.

@birdie-puff and I teamed up to create a sequel to the much-beloved Holding On, and I’m genuinely left breathless by the stunning artwork that came out of it. This was a fun event to participate in, and it’s been a delight seeing all the various creations that’ve come out of it!

A spectacular read for anyone interested in an emotional story with little details to keep you captivated. When I read it I could hear the chatter of island bugs as the characters interacted, It was immersive for me and I absolutely adore the whole thing. ❤️❤️❤️

My first finished piece.

Done in pencil and then touched up and colored digitally.

Klarion the witch boy is one of my favorite Young Justice characters (if not my favorite) and I thought I’d show that the only way I know how.

It took roughly ten hours, being my first digital artwork. I almost lost the piece multiple times on accident, but I pulled through!
