i think i’m just gonna drag everyone to some all you can eat buffet or something.

i know at least two of these kids would eat me out of house and home and wallet if i let them.

don’t think all you can eat buffets really require a dress code, but if you wanna dress nice you know i won’t stop you!

That sounds like perfect plan!! Very logical, as you're taking an entire group of people out.

And since they are growing children I'm sure they have quite the appetite!

Surprisingly to even yourself, you’re doing better than you thought you would be in the wake of such an episode. Its been months since your last one, the fit that made you think a change of scenery would be nice.

You just need to arm yourself better against the next. It steels some kind of resolve in you. This is a very odd day.

You answer the knock at the door to see Nifa and their tiny pup, poking out of their overalls. Seeing them makes those pangs flare up again, but you will them don.

Enough.

Managing a tired grin, you gesture inside. “Hey, Nifa. You come to chill?”

You take in his appearance, a concerned look dawning on your face. Liam looks tired, and not in the 'I stayed up until five am writing a script way' but a 'I stayed up until five am battling my inner demons' kind of way.

"Yeah!" You give him a reply full of energy, trying to pour your good vibes onto him. "It's been a couple of months since I've seen you, and we're neighbors!! Practically anyways."

The puppy squirms in your pocket, trying to smell Liam. "and this one was very excited about meeting new people as well! She almost peed in my overalls."

The uneasiness doesn't leave even after you enter the house. "Today feels.... strange, doesn't it?" It's more of a statement than a question. Today felt thick and dark, and not just inside you, but around Liam as well. "Is everything alright?"

Nifa isn't really the kind of person that stays active on any kind of social media site for very long. That being said, they end up missing quite a lot with what happens with their friends.

And they still haven't been on tumblr, being too busy playing with their new pup, but they feel like something is.... wrong.

They tuck the pup in the front pocket of their overalls, and head towards Liam's apartment.

The uneasy feeling wont leave their gut, but as they knock the door they're confident that a fluffy puppy can fix everything, even if they don't really know what the problem is.
