Was looking at the animated wiki and noticed that grif and simmons guns are different. Im not a gun person so I ended up looking up the different between the two rifles and

Grif has a battle rifle so he can be far away from the fight (lazy) and simmons has an assault rifle so he can get in and deal with with the issue quickly (kissass)

Also SMG's (basically smaller weaker machine guns?? i think) are used for "close-quarter suppressive fire". Church has two guns that fire a lot and are ment to be used at close range. because his aim is ass.
