We are two pagan spiritual Doulas based in Australia. Anna is a Shaman Doula based in Gold Coast Queensland and Lee is a Druid Doula based in Canberra, ACT. Lee is Level 2 Herbal Alchemist, has studied Naturopathy (but for family reasons could not complete the course), is a qualified Doula, student Childbirth Educator and student Trauma Informed Proffesional. She worked As a qualified childcare educator, including as a Room Leader for many years before becoming a Doula and has 4 children. Anna is a Postnatal Doula, qualified Reiki practitioner, has studied Numerology and been taught how to do readings; she is also a student Kinesiologist. Anna worked as a commercial chef before starting her journey to become a Postnatal Doula and has 2 children. Both Lee and Anna have experienced their own unique birth experiences. Anna had a caesarean with her first child and a home waterbirth after caesarean for her second child. Lee had a vaginal hospital birth with her first child, vaginal breech birth with her second, caesarean due to placenta previa complete with her third, and a homebirth after caesarean with her fourth child. In addition to support services that we work together and separately to provide, we also sell a wide range of organic, biodegradable and non-toxic products via our website. At this time we only sell products to those within Australia, face-to-face services are provided locally but we can provide virtual services to those who are further away. We live in a society where people feel the need to push their beliefs, opinions, fears and personal biases on expectant families. Birth plans are mocked and divine birthing beings are treated as if they are being selfish for wanting more than just a 'healthy alive baby'. But here's the thing it's not okay ... its not okay at all. Thankfully, more people are slowly waking up to this uncomfortable part of our society and birth culture.
