‘Factory by architects Walter Gropius and Adolf Meyer, the Fagus shoe-last works in Alfeld near Hanover, 1912.
‘It is the first building in history to feature a curtain wall; from the skeletal frame, the architects hung down the glass facade Which even extended to transperent corners.
‘Emphasizing distinguising and in many of the structural elements, Gropius sought to create symbols of the spirit and will of the acts.’
A guy named Adolf Hitler won an election in 1932. He won an election, and 50 million people died as a result of that election in World War II, including 6 million Jews. So what I learned as a little kid is that politics is, in fact, very important.

No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world.
We don’t read and write poetry because it’s cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for.
