i've decided i want to open a GFM-like thing(maybe ko-fi, since GFM doesn't work in brazil) for donations to gather funds for my top surgery!!!🥳🥳🥳 if you ever found yourself grateful for the rizas i share and wish you could show your gratitude in a way other than your support by interacting with me and my stuff, this is for you!!!
i'm still planning things out, checking with my insurance plan and talking to different surgeons to see how much it's going to cost in total. but the surgery alone tends to be somewhere between 15.000~30.000 BRL (around 3.000~6.000 USD), which is around 10 to 20 months of minimum wage in brazil. 🛌
i've been living alone with my cat since late 2023, and i currently have a job that keeps me away from home for 12 hours a day. I try to do commissions every once in a while, but it's not something i can always rely on given my life condition. but i still want to offer some incentive for whoever CAN and WANTS to support me! that's pretty much what i have in mind, and i plan on working on this plan once i'm done with my current owed art before making an actual elaborate post with all the necessary info and details! for now I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.
