How about if you or your child are ill and your due to see someone with an autoimmune disease you fucking tell them?!?

My cousins daughter was practically hacking up a lung on Sunday at lunch. It's now Thursday, 4 days later, and I'm still bed bound. Like, I get that it's not an issue for able people but a little thought goes a long way when you know someone who is fighting a disability.

I couldn't even say anything about the fact a little heads up would have been nice because I felt guilty for moaning about an ill toddler.

I shouldn't have to feel like an inconvenience! Nor should it be somehow acceptable for someone to take a chance with the health of a heavily pregnant woman with multiple sclerosis.

I get that I'm not going to be able to avoid illnesses. None of us can. But, at least give me a choice when you know I'll end up extremely ill.

Movie Night Jan. 26th

We will be watching Deadpool 2 as the main feature for this months movie night. Also strong possibility for an Incredibles 2 double feature after.

Saturday, January 26th at 7:30 EST I will post a link to my rabb.it chatroom, you will need your own account to join. The show will begin at 8pm EST, with a ten minute break around an hour into the show.

This movie night was made with the disability community in mind, but you don’t have to be disabled to join. Just don’t troll and it’s all good.

If you’ve seen the movie before, please don’t spoil it for those who have not. Interacting in the chatroom is up to you, and I personally don’t care about fowl language in the room, just treat each other with civility.

Looking forward to another fun and entertaining movie night!

I will be making blog page soon so I have all this info in one place, plus future movie night dates. For now, the next movie night will be Valentines Day, February 14 at 8pm EST.

It is important for EVERYONE to know how to help ANYONE. Not everyone can give them selves their medicine under every circumstance. Be educated, help out.

In the last year, i have gotten about five new violent allergies from foods i used to be able to eat. Next time i eat a fruit, my throat could close. I may not be able to inject myself. My boyfriend and i played with my trainer pen for like 30 minutes. He knows how to inject it. I know how. This is important.

Someone twisted this Jewish family’s menorah into the shape of a swastika

Naomi Ellis and her her husband Seth spent Friday morning — the morning after the sixth night of Hanukkah — trying to explain to their three young sons why someone had vandalized the menorah the family had put out on their yard by twisting the metal pieces into the shape of a swastika.

The Ellis family had only built the 7-foot-tall menorah on the front lawn of their home in Chandler, Arizona, because their sons, ages 5, 7 and 9, had asked their parents if the family could decorate their home like the neighbors did for Christmas, the Washington Post reported. Read more.

Aquaman warning!

Since I haven’t seen a warning for this yet, please be careful if you’re sensitive to flashing lights etc. and are going to see Aquaman. I went the other day and genuinely can’t remember the last 45 minutes of it because of all the flashes and bright lights. Luckily I didn’t have a full blown seizure but I was very much not benefitting from certain sequences towards the end at all.
