I don’t know when or if you’ll ever get to read this, but thank you for thinking of me. You know, I would be lying if I said I never thought of you even once in the span of 4 years - because I did. I just didn’t know how to reach you anymore.

And this message has been sitting in my inbox for I don’t know how long. Na teary-eyed ako sa second line pa lang. Haha. Not because I’m afraid of ghosts, but you in particular, are a Casper. We were friends before everything else. And I guess we all have a choice in what memories we keep and I chose to remember you well.

I hope you’re happy and doing fine too wherever you are.

Sunday, August 12, 2012. Khala's 18th birthday @ Grand Convention Center of Cebu.

Was asked by her mom to be one of the 18 candles along with my sister Yvonne. We barely knew anyone there and everyone was either way younger or way older than me. (Some 13 year old even guessed that I was 14 years old. How cool is that?) But the band was good, food was great and we had fun anyway. Still thankful for getting invited. :) Made me remember how I wanted a debut party when I turned eighteen, too...

Those were the days when my planner looked alive with my jam-packed schedule. Haha. Now, they're just blank boxes with dates. I've never been much of a planner anyway.

Life Milestone

Apparently, someone left my number at a call center company and they randomly called me today while I was so casually strolling in the SM department store. But it seems like I can't find good enough reasons for myself to work as a call center agent no matter how hard and long I think about it (and I have been thinking about it a lot for the past few weeks). So the lady said, "You've passed the initial interview but it seems like you're not yet ready for this job." Haha. Way to go for my extended unemployment.

I haven't been looking, or officially applied for anything (I don't even have a resume lol) but the golden opportunity presented itself. Unfortunately though, I flunked it. Haha. So there goes my first ever ambush job interview. Achievement unlocked!

God is opening better doors for me elsewhere. Waiting on your perfect plans for me, Lord. (I'd better really make my resume soon, though. And God bless my board exam results. XD)
