#something that i found really sweet about that last scene #was not only the fact that jace was probably apologizing about the whole tracking thing in general #hurting her in an emotional sense #but also in a physical sense #jace was apologizing in case he hurt maia during their fight as well #when in reality he just stood there the entire time taking maia’s punches #and only really touched her to try and stop her #never did he try to fight back #or extend a hand otherwise #because he knows he’s in the wrong here #and also because he doesn’t hit women #especially not maia #especially not when he deserves it #but he apologizes anyway because he didn’t want to hurt her
