You created this. This is your fucking fault. And what do you do now, with the knowledge that you have created something horrifying, that you have created something that kills? THat you have put an evil upon the earth? Do you have what it takes to stop the mistake, even if that could never ever be the same as making it not happen? Of making yourself not have done it?

I mean, I know she didn't really, but Izumi THINKS she created something that has killed. This is a different branch of the question we're asked of Roy, "what do you do, when you have done something terrible, that cannot be undone" it's such a SEXY question, and if they will never hold Ed's feet to the fire in any meaningful way I like that at least it seems they will go there with Izumi and Roy. Izumi knows what she should do, and, outside of us knowing that homos can't be killed in a standard way, she can't bring herself to do it. She doesn't have the strength. She's paying for her crime anyway, but does that absolve her of the responsibility of attempting to fix it, even if she can't? I don't know! I don't know! And honestly, "I don't know, everything is so fucked!" is my favorite kind of answer.
