Steven deciding to uncorrupt Jasper makes no sense with one, Lapis is with the gems now and was present when they were getting the bubbled corrupted gems why would she be ok with Steven with curing her arch nemesis and how did she react when seeing Jasper's bubbled gem?

Man...I don’t know...  I’ve been trying to distance myself from SU stuff.  Don’t even have the energy to play with that Lapissona base that was made last year ;_;

Anyway.....wasted potential, wasted character development, wasted talent........I’m tired.

i’m not quite sure that everyone understands the severity of antifa being designated as a terrorist organization. 

antifa is not an organization. it does not have structure, members, leaders, meetups, rules, etc. it is literally just shorthand for antifascist. that’s all it fucking is.  the only designation for “being antifa” is considering yourself antifascist. 

if antifa is labeled as a terrorist organization, calling yourself antifascist gives the government legal grounds to arrest you for terrorism. 

if donald trump isn’t bluffing about this, it will give the government the legal right to arrest people who are vocally antifascist for suspected domestic terrorism. antifascist peaceful protests will no longer have the legal right to exist.

antifa is a ideology, not a group. if it gets legally classified as a terrorist organization, the government has the jurisdiction to arrest anyone they deem to be a part of it. 

this isn’t fearmongering. this is what being classified as a terrorist means. and it is beyond dangerous.

I don’t actually believe Shadow Weaver was actually proud of Catra, just that she was trying to do the one good thing, and that included finally telling Catra something nice

Same honestly.  With how she treated Catra her whole life, what she said came across as empty to me.  And that little “You’re welcome.” from her, to me it sounded very full of smug that I never thought it was genuine.

I really wish Catra’s redemption arc was spread out more.  And had Entrapta act distant around her for a while before forgiving her.

In case people are confused.

Shadow Weaver was NOT given a redemption arc.

I don't want to hear people talking about how she was "hastily redeemed" just because she sacrificed herself to save Catra. How all of her abuse was immediately forgiven, because it wasn't.

Because she was not redeemed!

The scene where she saved Catra was not meant to show redemption. It was her one good action. We're meant to feel sad for her as Adora and Catra do, not because we forgive her. But to show that someone can hurt you so much, but for reasons you might not even understand, they hold a space in your heart.

Some people who grew up with emotional abusive parents will understand what I mean, some won't and that's fine. But please don't pretend Noelle is trying to "erase" Shadow Weaver's abuse, because she isn't.

So I absolutely loved the She-ra finale.  The only thing I have a problem with is ShadoWeaver getting an emotional send off after manipulating Catra and Adora literally a few minutes ago and the episodes before.  Like...she did not deserve that.

I remember saying out loud “Why are you crying?  WHY are you crying???” towards Catra and Adora.

But other than that!  It was an awesome episode and an awesome series!  I just needed to rant a bit and see who feels the same.  I totally recommend it.

So I just remembered the time where people wanted Lapis to drown them and Jasper to....kill them or something.

And I’m still like: “Why don’t you people fantasize holding their hands or something?”

Alright, enough salt.

That last episode was cute and good.  A nice wrap up.  I enjoyed the touching moments from Bismuth, Lapis, and Peridot.  I liked how extra Jasper was.  What with her making a new hole in the wall as she went back in the building.  I also found it sweet that she was upset that her student was leaving.

Also I knew Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl were going to cry in the end.  Heh, classic trope.  Never gets old.

So...yeah, nice ending to a nice episode.

Since Steven Universe is officially done, I’ve decided to reblog this so we can list all the questions that the show didn’t answer.

Hahaha!  The narrative did a sup par job at calling out the living Diamonds for their atrocities!  Oh sure the Diamonds called themselves out!  But it was through a Pity Party!

And there was sad music in the background!  There should have been silence!  But nah.  So I can only guess that with sad music in the background, were meant to feel sad for the Diamonds.

What a load of poop.

Ugh...Rebecca and Crew had just ONE job.  Just one!  And they barely did that!

So that proves they can only call out characters for their horrible behavior if they were already dead!

Hahahaha!  Woooooow!  Fuck this show.  I am so glad to be finally free of this.

I guess this is what I get for clinging onto that last sliver of hope that Rebecca and Crew would get their act together...

Alright!  So!

SU is finally over!

And what happened in SU future?  Well for the first half, Rebecca and crew were perfectly capable of calling out Pink Diamond for her horrible behavior.

But what about the other Diamonds?

Nah, not really.  They called themselves out through a Pity Party.  A.  Pity.  Party.  That wasn’t as satisfying when they did it with Pink Diamond.

So I guess that goes to show that Rebecca and crew are only capable of having the narrative actually call out a character......if they’re already dead.
