Welcome to my page, I'm Bittlebat, but you can call me Fizzy or Bittle. I'm a multi-fandom and original character-centered blog that posts a lot about OC x Canon and my comforts. I use to own the @bittlestofbats blog but have since retired it to start over from scratch.

At this time, I have three main AU storylines that alter the entire structure and lore of its original source with my own original characters in the mix.

Grulovian Tales: Psychonauts AU and solo fanfiction.

Return to Gardenview: Dandy's World AU and solo fanfiction.

And there is also my own original book storyline, " The Culinary Corsairs, " which has been in the works since 2023, which follows a group of food people captains trying to make it in a world where a rogue pirate wants to take over it.

It's wild that people are complaining about the merch for Gameoverse, like, wouldn't you want to be able to collect merch of your favorite characters for a show and support the creators to make more episodes? Where do you think they pull the money from to give you free episodes? Indie animation survives with funding, you know, and merch is the most win-win way of doing it cause the show can get production funds and YOU get collectables you don't even HAVE to buy.

You guys are the same people who will buy merch from a Disney, Nickelodeon, or Cartoon Network show, then lose your shit over Glitch doing the same thing.

I wish the Halloween and Christmas toons would also get Easter skins too. Like there is a good chunk of people who want to see the Halloween toons with Christmas skins, or the Christmas toons with Halloween skins, or the Halloween and Christmas toons with Easter skins, including me.

But I guess this comes with the flaw that the toons are only available at a certain part of year, the same flaw that makes it were we don't have a complete 35-39 masteries badge </3

Reblogs in a chain now get their own notes

The reblog chain is one of the things that makes Tumblr unlike anywhere else. All the notes on reblogs are attributed to the original post, no matter which branch people actually liked or reblogged. We want to keep encouraging conversations, and give contributors the recognition they deserve. 

Soon, you'll be able to like, reblog, or reply to any part of a reblog chain, and that note will go to that reblog's author. Each reblog will have its own counts, instead of one aggregated number from every version of the post. And yes, you’ll be able to like multiple posts in one chain.

If a reblog doesn't add anything, the love flows up to the last person in the chain who did. Your post doesn't lose notes just because people spread it quietly.

Past notes will stay on the original post — we're only changing what happens from here on out. Retroactively re-attributing all of them would be... a lot.

This is just the beginning. More changes are coming as we keep building this out – stay tuned!

Let's talk about reblog notes.

We rolled out a significant change to how notes work on reblogs, and the reaction has been strong. We're not going to pretend otherwise. 

First things first: We're reversing the change. Your feedback in comments, emails, and especially reblogs, made clear that the rollout created problems we need to address before moving forward. We also should have communicated this differently from the start, and we didn't.

We still believe there's a better version of how reblogs can work. One that gives every voice in a chain the credit it deserves. But we want to get there with you.

In the coming days we'll share more on how we plan to do that,  including ways to work directly with some of you on this and future changes before they ship.

so as long as tumblr keeps this, here's the tumblr version of etiquette that was maintained when twitter's quote-retweets affected artist visibility/notes:

for art that someone has added reblog commentary to (or removed the caption from), reblog from the source

otherwise, avoid adding reblog comments to art (as this will affect the artist's notes/visibility)—utilize tags and replies to provide commentary (which artists will absolutely appreciate)

reblog comments are comments added to the body of a post, not the tags and not replies.
