Breaking things off with a man simply because seeing him cuts into my reading time is probably the most girl-boss thing I’ve ever done

as someone who constantly forgets they are depressed, I tend to respond to “how are you” with a handful of negative things and a dash of “oh well, what’re ya gonna do”. it’s positively harrowing when I try to respond with only positive answers as a sincere effort to not seem so negative, because I feel like I’m portraying myself as a brighter and more happy-go-lucky me that truly doesn’t exist.

I think I need to be medicated again lowkey

not sure why but I genuinely enjoy buying books that show me how to do whatever it is I wanna learn how to do. I could google it. I could watch a yt video certainly it would be faster. No—let me read 300 pages about process tips tricks and author anecdotes so I feel like I have a personal and deeply emotional connection with my little arts and crafts project
