Haven't posted in weeks because the heat is destroying me, plus most archival materials I use have strict data protection rules (even though I'm actually mostly reviewing admin stuff, but psy-related collections are often restricted as a whole)

Today I'm running away from the heat in the library

Accountability to-do list for today:

Start database for mapping professional connections

Select works from the archive of publications

Request materials from the archive (last task of the day)

Upload student grades

UPDATE:

Did full publications database (1970-1990)

Completed a preliminary classification

Didn't request materials from archive (first thing tomorrow, I need to call them and I finished at 23:00)

Uploaded student grades & emailed them with individual feedback

I'm very happy with today's work. Even though it took me a couple hours to sit down and get to it, I got into a great workflow and did a long library session (from after lunch until 22:20ish)

As someone about to start a PhD myself, I’m curious about the N1 sized academic planner from Sterling Ink (probably in a daily version, though). How do you find it? Are you planning on switching it up after you finish this iteration? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Hello! I have the N2 (smallest version), maybe I posted the wrong size sometime? I'm super happy with the size. I hesitated for weeks and finally decided to get that one and I'm very happy with the decision. I mainly considered the N1 and N2 sizes, but also one of the smaller ones (pocket? Idk, something below A5)

N2 is big enough for me. Some days I run out of space but it's very rare, and I would rather have that happen once a month than having half my page blank daily.

I chose the horizontal style even though I like how vertical looks a lot more, because I know I use it more in this way. If you have doubts about what layout to use, I'd recommend buying both models from Travelers company to test them (it's what I used before and I loved it), though that is a the equivalent of N1 i believe

I'll probably stick to it unless an N1 model with a colour I love drops

spent the weekend studying in cafes and taking long walks because it’s been warmer outside than inside my house. enjoyed a bit of sunshine because this spring has been very cold and even though the days are longer, it doesn’t really feel like summer is coming.
