Update on the recast issue with jpop dolls
Just to keep you guys informed, Grace has contacted me again and seems to understand that I have no control over the confessions I receive and believes I don't know who submitted the confession.
I do hope for a good outcome for Kaye, and that this was a false confession since I cannot even fathom spending the time and effort making a doll to have someone send it for recasting just because they feel like it.
So all in all, things are fine but I do believe that after confessions run out tomorrow morning I'll be taking a break for a week or so. I'm simply worn out and need a bit of a break and after a week or two I'll be back, I just need some time to myself.
If you need me, as usual, you can contact me on my personal blog or by email, and I hope you all have a good day.

Mmm… Well, for your second point, maybe an excel spreadsheet would work? Just confession number and username, then go and delete the actual message.
While that's a really good idea, that kind of goes back to the point of how much work already goes into the blog. I spend several hours every week making up confessions and getting them queued. I already eliminated tagging confession numbers since that made it take even longer.
The amount of work that would have to go into making a spread sheet to keep track of who submits what just genuinely is not even worth it because of the sheer amount of extra time it would take me and I'm truthfully not willing to spend that much time out of my day doing something that intense for a hobby and for a blog I don't get paid a cent to do.

Is there a way to disable the option to submit confessions anonymously? I mean, they can still be publicly posted as anonymous, but at least you’ll have a digital trail to cover your own ass in case something like this happens again.
There is. But the whole point of the blog is for things to be anonymous. Not to mention if I DO get wind of illegal activities the last thing I want is to have to go through and be reporting people to the police.
There's also the fact I'd have to keep every message in the inbox, which would eventually glitch things out (I get over 100 in under 24 hours, sometimes double that.) and I'm pretty sure if I made it so people had to be signed in to submit things, the blog would die a rather fast death.
But frankly at this point I may be closing it down. When people start taking advantage of the blog to just create drama or problems for myself, it's not worth it anymore. I don't get paid to do this and it's a mostly thankless (there is a group of people who are vocal about their thanks and I adore them for it, but they are a rather small group in the vast sea of 1k+ followers I have.) job that at this point, is not worth the amount of stress or bullshit I have to deal with.

Then why even publish it in the first place :/
Because there is absolutely no way for me to determine what is real and fake.
I don’t have a pair of pants I put on when I work on confessions that tingle in all…
Then really there is no point to complaining. I mean come on if you just consider consequences of posting something like that then you wouldn’t have to deal with the stress of something like what has happened.
It’s not like you need to post every single confession you receive.
Yes because before I make confessions I sit and think through every possible outcome of posting said confession.
I'm gonna just.
Not reply to you anymore ok? Ok.

I don't have a pair of pants I put on when I work on confessions that tingle in all the right places when a confession is true and zap me in the ass if it's not.
And frankly I have more pressing matters to worry about like my husband being deployed in a warzone for the fourth time than giving a shit whether people are sending in real confessions or not. But I hope this will be enough of a hint for people to realize that some of this shit can throw me under the bus while they sit back and chill out.
