I don't really think kiku gaf about animanga otaku culture. there I said it. no I don't think he's heard a single vocaloid song no I don't think he cosplays no I don't think he plays visual novels. he doesn't even know what that is and is still playing mahjong and go. (/hj)
he's probably played like. Atari games early Nintendo games and shit like street fighter. maybe COD once.
probably knows artists like Ado, Fujii Kaze and Twice but personally listens to music from like the 80's and before, and a fairly wide range of genres but especially liking (aside from j-music or enka) big band/jazz, hip hop/R&B & folk.

vaguely bisexual and far from inexperienced
mildly susceptible to bouts of depression or listlessness
lives in a old-ish trad home thats super lived in and in need of repairs but can't bring himself to do anything about it.

fairly opinionated but quite reticent. complains a lot about stuff in his mind but what comes out of his mouth is like "sounds great. let me know how I can help."
introverted but not really shy/socially anxious/awkward. maybe a bit difficult to truly understand or see his "real" character (obfuscated on purpose)
generally regarded as a "really weird guy" by most of his neighbors
