Legitimately just had one of the worst meals of my entire life. I am still sitting here, trying to come to terms with what I just put inside my body. The orange chicken was drenched in what I can only call a carcinogenic slime. It tasted like how bug spray smells. I felt myself actively eroding the more of it I ate, but shit, it was $16 bucks. I kept going in spite of myself. I should've known better. The chlorine they call sauce seeped into every spongey pore of the chicken's squishy exterior. Despite the uncooked batter bathing in liquid cum, the chicken itself was a dry, chewy muskrat texture, one that forced you to choke up even the smallest pieces that you dared to swallow. The honey sesame chicken was an ice-cold cat's tongue, and the associated veg was mildewy and wilted. If you could cook the flavor of rot into something, then that's what they did to this food. I am not even joking, the chow mein tasted like a cigarette. I imagine they dumped an entire fucking bottle of liquid smoke into the noodles just to hurt and hopefully kill me. I can't imagine good people making food like this. Everyone there was a hateful, hateful person. Maybe they weren't even people.

The only good thing I can say about this experience is that I learned a terrible lesson. Thank you, Panda Express.

I'm just now remembering one feature that the web app has never really had that we may be losing: access to other planets D:

The other maps have educational anecdotes, labels for places and things, and a ton of panoramas and views from NASA. The fact that we may potentially be losing this in the future is hella tragic.

Today on Random Internet Finds: The World's Oldest Webcam

This is FogCam. It sits in spots at the University of San Fransisco, and since 1994, has taken a picture once every 20 seconds, overriding the previous image and uploading it to its website.

There's not a whole lot of surviving websites from this time period, so I thought this was cool to find.

Here's the 'live' image I got when I first visited. Maybe someone else can see something interesting happen.

Today on Random Internet Finds: HOW TO OWN YOUR STEAM GAMES (works sometimes)

So I found out where the actual executables for my Steam games are and I just want to share:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common[Game Name]).

Using this directory can let you find the .exe file. While this doesn't work for every game, if the game in question doesn't use DRM to validate the "license" to play, you can copy the game's files just about anywhere for free.

Don't use this method to hurt indie devs, I do endorse paying for them, but this can be good for preserving games, or even playing them elsewhere besides your computer.

Today on Random Internet Finds: Sandboxels

Another neal.fun site here.

This is a sandbox simulator that uses pixels to simulate anything and everything.

Things I have done:

made a cool terrarium

blew up a sun (YES, you can spawn the sun, and blow it up)

killed humans in far more ways than initially though possible

why is there a dedicated human button

set fire to everything before bringing everything to basically 0 degrees kelvin

liquefied light somehow

Found the blood button in the liquid section. You could recreate iron lung here I guess?

cooked some abominations with the food section

discovered that there is really no real upper temperature limit to the game

discovered elements and components that you have to make that don't have buttons

created violent weather

Everything I spawn keeps killing humans on this website.

Today on Random Internet Finds: This virtual aquarium I found online

The site in question is called orb.farm.

This is a virtual ecosystem you can run on your browser where you simulate an underwater ecosystem. It's a random site I found and I have been staring at it for hours.

Here's some screenshots:

it has:

water

algae

grass

fish

plankton (They glow at night)

occasional decorations

but be warned, balancing the ecosystem isn't easy, and you could easily kill all life in the tank with a lethal amount of CO2 or O2. Very interesting indeed.
