On Comet Elenin and other Celestial Visitors
There are rumors on the web that this comet is actually a Brown Dwarf and will cause great havoc when it sails to within 20,000,000 miles of Earth later this year.
With a little research combined with some scientific knowledge it is clear that Elenin is not a Brown Dwarf.
A Brown Dwarf would be larger than Jupiter, and brighter. Remember all of the planets are bright only because they reflect the light from the Sun. A Brown Dwarf would do the same. At its current distance (1.833 AU on June 7) Elenin is closer to Earth and the Sun than Jupiter and would be much brighter in the night sky than Jupiter. Yet it is nearly impossible to see - even with the best telescopes. As it gets nearer, it may become visible with binoculars, but if it was as large as a Brown Dwarf, it could be seen in the daytime as it nears!
So, comet Elenin, which is estimated to be only a mile or so in diameter, will not have any appreciable effect on our planet due to gravitation.
However, this is not to say that it will have no effect.
I believe that there is more significance to celestial bodies than what can be measured by our scientists. I think all who believe in astrology will go along with me on that. (Those who do not believe in astrology have not bothered to study it.) Thus any object coming so close to Earth and making several direct configurations with the Sun and Earth will undoubtedly have an effect upon us all.
It is interesting to note that at least with a cursory review of the current data on recent configurations with Elenin, there may indeed be more to this close encounter than is predicted by our astronomers.
The following dates when Elenin was in alignment with the Earth and Sun prove most interesting:
February 27, 2010 – The day of the Chilean earthquake.
Sept. 3, 2010 – two days before the Christchurch, New Zealand earthquake.
March 15, 2011 – 4 days after the earthquake and subsequent tsunami off the coast of Japan.
It is hard to accept that all three of these were coincidences.
The next Sun – Earth - Elenin alignment will be approximately September 27, 2011.
Compounding all this is another close encounter with a comet – known as 45p/Honda. This too is a very small comet, also about one mile in diameter. However, on August 23 this year, it will approach even closer to Earth than Elenin.
To give you an idea of how rare an event this is. There have only been 4 comets in the last 100 years that have come as close as 45p/Honda will do on August 23 (0.06 AU or about 6 million miles according to the New Zealand Astronomical Society).
What it all means I do not know. But if you add this to the unprecedented level of natural disasters we have experienced thus far this year, combined with the active start of the solar maximum and the predicted changes due to take place in 2012 – we could be in for a bit of a ride.
First and foremost, make your Spiritual life the most important part of your life. If things around you are speeding up, then be very sure that your Spiritual efforts are too.
Remember that we are on Earth to evolve. In these days the fastest way to evolve is through service to others. We are in this together and it is time to help each other as never before.
This is the one sure way we can survive the coming trials, in fact in this way we can triumph through these trials.
