On one side, we have someone being manipulated to believe that the person they're with loves them. On the other side, we have someone who knows that their partner loves them, but is afraid to make it official.
BUT CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW FAH BECKONS TEH TO HIM?! *coughs* I mean, I'm totally normal about this.
I also lied, so...
Plaifah's face is someone who got what he wanted (Teh). He might be playing a slight game of 'hard to get' but it's working. Teh is willingly falling into this trap.
ngl I'm kind of mad with this whole exchange. Toh tells Jimmy not to hurt him, to which Jimmy replies, "I would never. You're too precious". However, in the next second, he admits that breaking Toh is very tempting. BEING THE LOVESICK CHILD HE IS, Toh tells Jimmy to break him because he belongs to Jimmy. This is very first relationship coded on Toh's end, which checks out since Teh always claims that Toh is innocent. Even Plaifah is very protective of Toh when it comes to partners.
I hate it here. Jimmy has to know that Toh isn't experienced relationship-wise, so why must he use him?
Also, Jimmy is the little spoon: confirmed. I believe it has a different name, given this situation, but still!
Jimmy is an energy sucker? possibly.
Can't we cuddle a bit longer?
Why is it always Jimmy ruining their time together, lol. Also, Jimmy knows Teh well enough to know to leave Toh's room after Teh sees the pictures he sent. Knowing Teh, these pictures are going to make Teh forget the promise he just made to Fah about giving him "more than a hug" when he returns.
Stay away from Fah, and I'll leave your brother alone.
I believe we have reached the peak of Jimmy's villain era. How could he say with his full chest that if Teh doesn't give up Fah, that he will use Teh's brother until he's bored and throw him back? I know that Toh walked into this despite what Teh told him, but I still cannot believe Jimmy. That's not something you want to overhear when you wake up after a night together - their first night together. Then Jimmy returns to him as if nothing happened!
You've got this, Toh. Stay strong. You can make him love you for real.
I hate seeing these kinds of situations. Toh thinks it's something he's done, or hasn't done, that is the reason Jimmy doesn't want him. When the reality is that Jimmy was using him as a placeholder the whole time -- on top of getting back at Teh for "stealing" Fah from him.
We know that Toh is finally going to reach a point where he breaks up with Jimmy. It's in the first episode. However, we don't know if it's because Toh finally agrees with Teh (after something happens) or Toh gives up trying to make Jimmy love him.
The blackmail is wild. He really saw Plaifah seeking Teh out and was like, let's show his brother's photo in the courtyard where anyone can see it. Fah is there to ask Teh out on a movie date, and Teh has to tell him that he's busy so that Jimmy will leave Toh alone.
As soon as Teh walks away, Jimmy tries to get Fah to go see the movie with him. Fah, however, admits he doesn't want to see the movie with Jimmy and tells him to find someone else. Fah tells Jimmy he wants to go with someone specific (not naming names) and that Jimmy is so popular he can find someone else to go with easily BEFORE WALKING AWAY. Transparent Fah ftw.
After Saensee is taken to the animal hospital for being hit by a car, Toh takes Jimmy home and stays with him. Unfortunately, their non-public interactions are sweet like this. It's no wonder that Toh has a hard time seeing the bad person in Jimmy, like his brother tells him.
Toh even moves away from Jimmy when his brother calls to check on him since he hasn't returned home. Toh lies to Teh for Jimmy. When Teh point blankly asks Toh if Jimmy has contacted him, Toh says no. Who knew Toh would lie to Teh about Jimmy? It makes you wonder if Teh asked, so make sure Jimmy is holding up his half of the deal. Unwittingly, Toh is helping Jimmy get away with breaking the deal he has with Teh.
Plaifah I thought you wanted to pursue me?
Plaifah If you've changed your mind, just be direct about it.
In comes the problems because Teh is a man of his word. He has been avoiding Fah so that Jimmy will leave his brother alone, but his best friend is not honoring their deal. The only ones losing out are Teh and Toh. Toh who believe Jimmy likes him or could possibly like him. Teh who has to avoid the person he likes because Jimmy wants him.
I love that when Teh doesn't reply, Fah's first reaction isn't that Teh is over him. He wants to know if Teh and Toh fought. Something that would likely send the boy with a brother complex into a mode where he wouldn't want to respond. Fah even calls Toh to see if that's the case. However, Toh is busily hiding behind a lie and doesn't want to keep lying. As we know, Plaifah can see through lies that are especially surrounding Jimmy in particular. Fah seems a bit disappointed when Toh doesn't answer his call.
I hate that Toh gives Jimmy a moment to come clean. We all know that Jimmy is using Toh to get Teh to break up with Fah. However, he doubles down and makes it seem like he's just some innocent university student who has nothing to hide. Yet another lie to hide with his long list of lies.
You can see Jimmy has to think about it. If he should continue to lie to Toh or tell him the truth. Maybe he even expects Toh to remember that everything Teh told Toh about Jimmy is true. In essence, he wouldn't be lying completely then-- would he? But this is only because Jimmy doesn't realize that Toh knows about the conversation he had with Teh.
TOH LET'S HIM LIE! He brushes off Jimmy's lie as if it's nothing, but it's just a band-aid to their crumbling relationship that Toh is clinging to. Toh even tells Jimmy that he hopes Jimmy won't hurt him. When we already know that it's inevitable unless Jimmy changes his entire being. Instead of replying to Toh's plea, Jimmy kisses him. It's a non-answer, which is an answer.
P.S. Plaifah asking Jimmy to talk at the end of the episode? Girl, what are you doing??

The part that I caught was how Fah looked at Teh before Jimmy, as if silently asking Teh to trust him. However, brief. Jimmy gets the attention he wants, even gloats as he walks out of the room.
Plaifah has something up his sleeve. I'm curious to see how that goes.
