We didn't have AC till I was 10 and that was in 1972!
We didn't get our first air conditioner till 1987. Then when I bought my own house in 1998 I didn't get air conditioning in that until 2004 .... a 1 room air conditioner to start with then a house ac 6 years later.... I work outside mowing and landscaping so heat is a everyday thing for me.

My mom and dad divorced when I was 10, I went to camp that summer and was introduced to dirt bikes. So I wanted one, mom was a single woman and my father didn't pay child support when he was supposed to. Mom said she would pay half, if I pay the other half so I delivered papers in an apartment complex. Been working ever since!
