This one I made my own HC that Mikey kept pushing himself to keep going that he even hallucinated his family cheering him on more to basically kill himself but he sees it as a way to help others
Now for my amazing analysis which I said to blitz
well, after raphs death i would assume he would want to do better to make sure no one else dies, aka figuring out more he can do, and in the process he starts getting more upset that he didnt learn this before, causing him to go rapid fire during the kraang attack, he soon cuts off leos arm, extra guilt, showing he needs to control his energy more, he needs to keep working on it, he needs to do better, which then leo somewhat fears mikey, and donnie is in his lab in which he neglects mikey and others. Mikey had no one to stop him which would bring his reassurance up that he needs to keep going that at this point, no one should stop him.
Having that mind set can cause many problems especially if he sees himself as a useful tool to help people.
he never thought of himself, why should he, raph died cuz mikey thought of himself and didnt save him, Leos hand got chopped off cuz Mikey was thinking about himself again
plus with neglect of donnie which I like to see it as, this is what happens when you neglect someone to then come back to see this, even if your intentions are good your absence will always gonna affect the person in some way,
But continuing, no one is telling him to stop, He sees it as everyones way to keep going even to a point where he hallucinates his brothers voices to tell him to keep going, as He does better when people he loves supports him
he doesnt see it as unhealthy, he sees it healthy
