These mysterious pieces of paper recently started appearing around the Blackbeard offices. They are somehow linked to our next game, but how? More clues to follow...

The chosen ones
SVT (Swedish Television) have chosen Blackbeard as one of their official web production partners. We'll be producing games and other interactive solutions.
SVTs upphandling av webbproducenter är klar och Svartskägg (Blackbeard) hör till de utvalda företagen. Vi kommer producera spel och andra interaktiva lösningar.
Introducing... THE BLACKBEARD WEBSITE!
Which is just a Tumblr-feed, masquerading as a corporate website. But compared to our previous online presence (a logotype) it's a massive improvement. We are currently working on a really cool project, which must remain a secret for now. But fear not, we'll post some other stuff in the meantime. Check out the posts below to get an idea. Wondering about Blackbeard? Read about us here.
R&D Project: KOBOSHI
Koboshi (supposed to mean "Little star" in Japanese) currently exists as a small section of a platforming game. Making it allowed us to explore different aspects of Unity, such as shaders and lighting. Pressing 'x' in the demo switches between day and night.
There are currently no plans to expand this into a full game, but who knows?

32-BIT BALLOON ACTION: POLYGON RABBIT
We've been working on this game on and off for the last few months. It's pretty far along but some gameplay tweaks remain.
Basically, it's an "endless riser" where you have to avoid enemies while collecting massive amounts of pick-ups. Stylish low-poly graphics and procedurally generated backgrounds.
